"You!" Y/n boomed. "Take that back immediately!" She furiously yelled.

"Why should I? It's the truth, basically everyone here thinks that." He smirked.

Y/N stood up and glared at him as he smiled even more, she made a fist and hit his nose with all her strength as she did with Pansy, but even harder.

"She wasn't a mudblood you damn idiot!" Y/n yelled, pulling her wand.

"You're just protecting he, you blood traitor." Blaise said holing his nose which was bleeding.

"Levicorpus!" Y/n said and suddenly Blaise Zabani was hanging upside down in the room.

"Let me down Hunter." he said swearing at her, using nearly every swear he knew.

"Be happy I'm not killing you rotten rat faced asshole!"
She kneeled down nex to Mary once again and Draco kneeled next to hear.

"Stay calm Y/n, she needs you, don't get into trouble." He said making her a little more calm.

"How could that happen? How could she got hurt? I mean it's me...she's after me, why all the others?" She asked desperately, while she started to cry.

Madam Pomfrey, Snape, McGonagall and Dumbledore came in and Madam Pomfrey squealed quietly, when she saw Mary.

" She needs to be nursed immediately." Madam Pomfrey carried her out together with McGonagall followed by Dumbledore.
Snape was staying with them when he cleared his throat.
"What is Mister Zabani doing up there?" He asked as he looked at Y/n.

" What do I know...." She glared back at Blaise, who was pointing his finger on her. "I hope you get hurt once too and people will say that you didn't deserve it a better way, and that they falsely blame you as mudblood. I swear next time I hear you saying that word I'm going to crucio every single one who says this no matter what will happen to me! " Y/n left, leaving Snape wordless behind. She throw herself on her bed trying to calm down. No one had followed her. But then a light knock at her door. It was Draco he looked around the door his platinum blond hair first.

" Can I come in Y/n?" He asked.

"Yes." she sobbed in respond hiding her face in her pillow.

" Would you mind if I come in?" He asked pointing on the bed.

He once again even though she was scared, afraid and sad made her laugh at this comment with making a different voice. Y/n nod feeling guilty for smiling about this comment.
He sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her, so did she. He was lightly stroking her back to calm her down.

I felt disgusted of myself for having butterflies in my stomach now. How could I develop a crush on Draco Malfoy, while my best friend was fighting for her life? I knew Mary always said, that she liked seeing me happy, but right now wasn't the right time. Right now was just a bad coincidence, that made me hate myself. Even though I liked Malfoy, I knew he wouldn't feel the same way I did. I found out that he had asked a older Slytherin girl to go to the ball with him.

" Y/n, I'm not sure if this is a good question but shouldn't you be with someone, I mean if there's really someone trying to get you, all this was to get you alone." He said in a concerned way.

" I don't want to stay with the most of the Slytherin girls. And anyway who of them would like to stay with me. I made friends in really every house, but Slytherin is just a number to big for me. "I answered not raising my head up from his shoulder.

" I will stay here, I will sleep in Marys bed, if you are okay with that.... "He was lightly blushing because of his own suggestion.

" If you don't mind it why should I? "I raised my shoulders." But before we go to bed, there's something I have to tell you. " I announced as he looked at me curious and happy.

" Yes?"

" What happened in today's Potion class, I'm sorry about my behavior. I shouldn't have threatened you with my wand, but I was, I don't know, there's no apology for this sort of behavior. But I still hope you can forgive me." I said that getting a lot of weight from my chest.

" Hey Y/n, that's the last thing you would have to apologize for. " He answered slowly getting up.

" Thanks Draco. " I smiled with the warmest smile I could give him right now.

" I will go with you tomorrow, so you can meet Mary." The then said as he wished me a good night. First I though I couldn't sleep, since tons of thoughts were flying through my head. But then I remembered that thing again and sat up straight. "Draco?" I asked.

"What?" He hummed already half asleep.

"There's something else I need to tell you!" I looked at him, and he sat up once again to hear what I had to say. "It's really the last time for today I promise. So there's a special power given to my family, well not everyone has it, but my grandmother did and my uncle did and I have it too."

His eyes widened in curiosity as he asked which kind of power was given to my family.

" I can read minds. Many wizards or witches know how to do it, well not that many, but some do. "

" So you know what I am thinking? "He asked shyly.

" Only if I want to read them, when I was younger I was really good at it, but after my brother died it was as if my strength disappeared, but niw, I mean today it started again. "

And mind reading was indeed something wizards or witches wrre able too. Especially easy was it to read the thoughts of people who weren't of a strong will. And even people who had a strong will couldn't always hold against it, especially if the reader was curious.....

"Eh well I'm really supporting you." He said getting even more shy.

"Don't worry as I said, I can read it if I want, but I won't do that." I promised.

"You can use that well Y/n. I mean you could be the best at tests and other things." He smiled mischievously waving his eyebrows.

"No, I'd rather do that alone." I smiled back then I went to sleep.

Draco woke up a long time before we had to stand up. He said that he didn't want to be caught and that we should meet in the common room after changing, also he said I could sleeo there a bit and he could look after me.
I slowly got up. I was tired and still worried about Marys condition. I changed into my robes and opened my door to go to the common room. As soon as I stepped out my heartbeat stopped.
