I don't have much left— but no one wants to take anything from me anymore.

That's the result of my encounters with Xu Minghao and Wen Junhui. But can I truly place this on my old friend Jun?

Then again, I don't know if the word would be friend. More like, friendly acquaintance. Who was simply.. tainted.

Yes, though my days have become more bleak due to him, I simply feel he was tainted. I know that he was once a good person— I saw it everyday when I first began to like him all those months ago.

And now, I have let time pass for him to return to his normal self, to my luck Minghao trying to give the illusion he's disappeared. Though there are layers to that scenario, for my benefit I pretend I believe the illusion to be true.

So as soon as time does it's job, I will be there for you, Jun. I'll pull you from the satanic evil Minghao had injected you with, and in return, you'll allow me to lead you to gods light, to his glory where he will watch Minghao burn beside me.

For of course, no matter his incorporation with my social ostracism, I still forgive him, as God would want me to. And hand in hand with that fact, I still love him.

Yes, through it all, I want to save him from that devil, and lead him to my pure love.

And very similar to Jun, I had been tainted in the process as well. But I have forgiven myself, led myself back into the light and tried to heal.

I know myself, and know that I was poisoned just for another dollar in Minghao's pocket.

And in this realization, I feel I'm still worthy to be the good force helping find dear Yoon Jeonghan.

I consistently meet at a local Barnes and Noble with Seungcheol and Woozi. Though we're not exactly the closest bunch. They've learned to accept me, my mistakes, and invite their friendship even without the case being involved.

I think that has partly supported me in reviving my innocence.

Even now as I recall my past mistakes, I finish my meeting with the boys.

"Hey, Josh. Come on— look at them." I hear Woozi say softly.

I zone back into my surroundings. Seungcheol looks irritated, arms crossed with a small picture in his hand.

"Ah, Sorry." I stammer. "What would you like me do?"

"You finished reading that book on blood spatter, right? Can you apply anything?" Seungcheol asks, while Woozi pulls the Polaroid from his hand and slides it to me.

Right— I did read the book. We've studied multiple things based off of what we've seen— several non fiction crime stories, blood spatter, dna testing, and other techniques.

"Yeah, let me take the picture home and I can identify the scenario where the blood came to be." I slide the Polaroid into my pocket and bring the corners of my mouth up a little, yet not enough for it to be a held smile.

"Thanks. Alright, this was successful, no?" Woozi offers lamely, and Seungcheol only looks down at his shoes.

"H-hey." I offer up. "We got this. We're making progress."

He nods his head, and I know he knows it's true.

Just as time is telling, soon enough we're going to find answers that some people aren't going to like.

Soon enough, Jun will look my way again.

Soon enough, Minghao will be gone for good.
