Running! And running! And running! They all charge down the corridors, all looking the same. The ship is beginning to shake as it zooms closer to the sun. All are being monitored by CCTV and the schematic of the ship viewed in the control cabin. The Captain, Bridget, Dennis and Dale take out their guns once more, as they approach the damage of the ship. In the lead, the Captain takes out his communicator and the image displays Summer guiding them through the ship to find the location of the damage, she lights upon it in 3D.
Captain Chen:
How much further?
Summer:
Around the corner.
They spot the damage and race over to it.
Captain Chen:
Bridget, Dennis, you go check down the corners and check for any creatures wandering around.
Bridget and Dennis rush around to corners parallel to each other on the other sides. The Captain stands ready in the middle with his radio. Behind him, the Doctor, Nyssa and Dale analyzing the broken wires.
Dale:
What do you make of the damage, Doctor?
Doctor:
Simple damage done. These wires have been ripped out.
Nyssa:
Then we need to attach them back.
Doctor:
You see, this is where I had the Sonic.
Summer:
Captain, problem. The reactor is beginning to overheat. If we keep flying towards the sun the reactor will explode!
The reactor begins smoking. A dial measuring the heat is beginning to rise closer and closer towards the red section, meaning only danger!
Tegan:
We'll just have to keep calm and try our best.
The ship approaches even closer.
Doctor:
These three just need tying up together and it should be fine. Nyssa, hairband!
Nyssa quickly takes out some of her hairbands and hands them over to the Doctor. Grabbing the wires together, he begins trying to knot them around so they all connect.
Dale:
Hurry, Doctor!
The reactor reaches the danger point! The ship is almost frying! Tegan and Summer stare into the blinding sun, the best they can to guide the ship out. Sweat pours out of everyone's brows. The Doctor has now finished! The wires are all connected to where they should be, the current is flowing through for there to be a connection.
Doctor:
Take her out, NOW!
Both Tegan and Summer violently slide the wheel to the right. The entire craft spins to the right and flying directly away from the sun, putting her back on course. The others in the corridor are thrown against the walls. They had averted! One huge sigh of relief from the control cabin.
Summer:
He did it! The Doctor did it!
Tegan:
Just the normal routine for life in the TARDIS.
The others in the corridor stand and relax now. The Captain pats the Doctor on the back.
Captain Chen:
You know man, whatever I said about you earlier, I take it all back. You saved us all from imminent disaster!
Dennis:
Yeah, you saved us from crashing into the sun with a couple of hairbands. Man, that was amazing!
Captain Chen:
That's enough, BOY!
Dale:
I don't even think I could be able to pull that one-off.
Doctor:
You're an engineer, aren't you Dale. Of course you would.
Dale:
Oh, perhaps. Maybe not quite with a hairband.
Nyssa:
You're all forgetting something. The creature! It's still on board!
Bridget saw something. Like a black shadow of a person down the corridor.
Bridget:
Guys, I thought I saw something move down there!
Captain Chen:
Control? The reactor, the ship and the creature?
Summer:
Reactor cooling down. The ship back on course. The creature, only down the corridor.
Captain Chen:
Right, QUICK!
Doctor:
Not so fast...
They had all charged down!
