Lunchtime came and Virgil was feeling less than ideal. He stood there at the doorway feeling his anxiety down his spine, that subtle itch that made him want to turn around and run... Or start a fight. Thankfully it wasn't bad enough to warrant a visit to the 'panic room'. No... Right now he just wanted to move.

"Are you ok, Virgil?" Virgil jumped slightly looking back to see that familiar face again and sighed. Logan stood there holding a light blue notebook peeking over a laptop he had hugged to his chest. "Is there something you need assistance with?"

"I'm just... uh... too many people." It wasn't entirely false. There were way too many people. Usually, at his old school, Virgil either skipped lunch or brought his own, finding comfort in solace usually up on the roof or something. Today he was trying to do things different. He had promised Patton he was going to try a few things... actually he promised Patton quite a bit. He was finding hard to follow through, however. His nerves were getting to him thanks to the teachers and the bullying. It was only his first day and he was made a target. Typical really, honestly he was expecting it... it didn't make it any less nervewracking.

"I also have an adversity to crowds. Unfortunately, my friend does not..." Logan pointed over at a table... or more precisely said, a man in a white leather and a scarlet muscle shirt. His striking green eyes darted about the place as he spoke to the group that surrounded him. It didn't take long for Virgil to recognize a very familiar face.

"PATTON!" Virgil yelled out without thinking rushing over as Patton and the redhead turned to look at him. To be totally honest Virgil was almost at his limits when it came to that constant buzz around him. Patton jumped up the moment he spotted Virgil, wasting no time in pulling the anxious one in.

"Hey, Kiddo. You ok?" Patton rubbed circles on Virgils back making the younger laugh a little as he pulled away with a smirk.

"I'm good. Just... too much going on."

"Yes well, one can only take so many comments about proper program placement." Virgil stepped away hearing Logan's voice and smirked. He could see the way Patton's eyes went wide as he looked over at him. Patton's always had a thing for the 'smart' ones. "The names Logan Reynolds. I see you've already met Roman." Logan shot the prep boy a certain look making the man narrowed his eyes. "I hope he's been treating you well enough."

"Yeah, He's been helping me a lot actually." Patton smiled glancing over at Virgil with a question in his eyes.

"Oh, Logan shares my 1st-4th classes..."

"Wait, what?" Patton and Roman both called out in surprise, albeit for different reasons. Virgil just sighed as Patton continued on. "How are you..."

"I skipped a year." Logan narrowed his eyes in confusion as this Roman guy just looked Virgil up in done clearly in judgment. "Look let's not get all bent out of shape ok? I get it. I'm a year younger and yet still in advancement placement... the thing is Pat..." Virgil smirked as he stuffed his hands into his hoodie. "... most of the kids in there are morons."

“Actually I would have to agree with your statement. They are indeed idiots.” Virgil smiled until he looked around noticing the crowd they had pretty much walked into. Not good.

“Kiddo?” Virgil snapped out of it and frowned. “Are you going to be ok? You haven't gotten a...”

“I'll be ok, Pat. I don't think I'll need a Panic Room right now anyway.” The other two's eyes narrowed as Patton paled. “Relax. It's fine. I'm just... anxious.”

“Excuse me but why would you need a 'panic room'?” Virgil shrugged as he quickly grabbed a chair and sat much to Roman's dislike.

“I have very bad anxiety. The panic room is what I call the place I go to... release my pent up fear.” And make others experience the same, Virgil thought to himself with a chuckle. “Relax Pat... it's just a panic room.” Patton only nodded sheepishly making Virgil a bit concerned. “Hey, I know ok... I just...”

“Don't worry about it, kiddo. You just let me know if you ever do need to go there ok?” Virgil nodded ignoring the looks the other two was giving them.

“So I take it you're both from Washington?” Logan and Roman both said together and Virgil cringed at how quiet the room got. Virgil hugged his hoodie a little tighter around him and smirked to hide the nerves.

“Uh... Y-Yeah. I've lived there my whole life. Patton moved there, what, 7 years ago?” Patton nodded as he took his seat again, Logan sitting as well beside Roman, who wouldn't stop staring at Virgil.

“TELL ME ABOUT ANXIETY!” A new voice tore through the place scaring the shit out of everyone but Roman who seemed to deflate a bit more. A carbon copy of Roman ran over to the table slaming his hands down on it to make a very loud sound. “Tell me about...” The man looked up at Virgil and tensed, eyes going wide. “...Holy shit.”

“Remus what are you doing here?” Roman said with a slight growl but the man was only staring at Virgil. He sat down in a chair making Roman groan but still never took his eyes off the anxious one.

“You have white hair.” Virgil sighed as he pushed his hood down making Patton a bit nervous. “Like the victims.”

“Here we go again.” Logan whispered out catching Roman's attention who narrowed his eyes at Virgil.

“Why would you dye it like that?” Remus's eyes went wide and Virgil rolled his eyes. “Where you a victim of Anxiety that somehow managed to survive?”

“I was born with white... my eyes too.” Everyone but Patton froze up and Virgil sighed nabbing a roll off of Patton's tray. “That's everyone's reaction. I'm surprised no one asked if I was anxiety.”

“VIRGIL?!” The anxious one just laughed as Patton panicked beside him.

“Nah, if anyone was a serial killer it would be him.” Remus shot a thumb over at Patton causign Virgil to freeze up.

“Wait... You think... Patton could be a...”

“He's got the vibe. All happy and go lucky and... nice. It's always the ones you couldn't suspect.” Virgil raised an eyebrow at him as he caught Logan glancing over at Roman was still staring at Virgil. It honestly confused him. Why would anyone be so... interested with him?

“What are you looking at Princey?” Roman's eyes narrowed as Virgil turned his attention to him. “Maybe take a picture? It'll last longer.”

“And risk tainting my phone with your dark vibes... not gonna happen, emo nightmare.” Virgil laughed and shook his head pulling out his scheduled just to check it one last time. He's got art next. His whole next have was filled with electives. Art... then Music... then Drama. His last period he was free to do whatever.

“Yes, well... I would love to stay and chat but I got Art next and the gonna ring.” Roman's eyes widened as Virgil stood up with a stretch and smiled. “See ya, Pat?”

“Of course kiddo.”
