So Patton was going to Logan's house... which meant Virgil had nowhere to go. Why he thought hanging around the Drama club was a good idea, he didn't know. He stayed because than he would at least be around Roman but...

"Roman?" Just like with every other time he's tried to talk to the prince... NOTHING! "ROMAN!" Virgil stood there with his arms crossed as Roman helped with the stage props. There were people literally staring at them both with awkward expressions and Virgil could feel his anxiety getting the better of him. "Roman, I swear to god..."

"Can you just leave me alone, Hot topic?"

"Awe, you think I'm hot..." Roman glared over at Virgil making the other falter and step back. "Is everything ok, Roman?"

"I asked you to leave me the fuck alone." Virgil flinched, making Roman frown as the anxious one rolled his eyes.

"Right... Whatever you say, your royal highness." Virgil had enough of this. He didn't do anything yet Roman was once again being a total bitch to him. It's not like it was going to change anything. Roman belonged to him and nothing he did was going to change that. It didn't change the fact that it hurt though.

"Virgil, wait!" Virgil scoffed as he just kept walking. He was too upset to deal with this shit right now. "Virgil! I'm sorry just... just stop! Listen to me."

"You're acting like a bitch." Virgil called out as he plopped down in one of the theater seats avoiding Roman's gaze entirely as he watched people work.

"Virgil, you have to listen to me..."

"Not gonna happen Princey. I don't have to do shit." Roman stepped right in front of Virgil with narrowed eyes but Virgil still didn't meet his eyes. "I'm not going to deal with this, Roman."

"You're such a dick. First, you're up my ass and now your..."

"Hold it right there you egotistical fucker..." Roman reeled back as Virgil glared at him. "Last I checked... I was never 'up' your ass... It was the other way round." Roman cheeks flushed as Virgil narrowed his eyes. "Or did your pathetic nature blind you to what really happened?"

"STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!" Virgil sighed as he shook his head and frowned.

"I see..." Roman's eyes widened as Virgil forced a smile. "Guess I shouldn't be surprised. You're Roman Holiday! A man of your status wouldn't be caught dead smiling at me let alone in bed..."

"Virgil, stop..." Roman glanced around as the anxiety pricked at his skin. "It isn't what you think."

"Really? Because if that's true you wouldn't be so adamant about hiding it."

"I AM NOT GOING TO KISS YOU!" Roman froze as he looked around to see some people staring at them. Virgil just shook his head as he groaned.

"That's good, cuz I wasn't asking." Roman was left stunned as Virgil got up and left the room entirely. He was losing his mind. Was Roman really regretting him? Was all this pointless? His heart was aching so terribly... it was the worst feeling he had ever felt... and he'd been tortured before so... that's saying something. Next thing Virgi knew he was being shoved into the boy's bathroom. He spun around to see Roman staring at him with tear-filled eyes and his anger just... died. Roman ran to check the stalls managing to get to the second to last one before Virgil spoke. "What the fuck, Roman?!" Roman froze spinning around with this pleading look in his eyes making Virgil freeze up. 

"Please listen to me."

"Why? You've already made your choice. It doesn't matter anyway. It's not like anything was going anyway." Virgil crossed his arms as Roman yelled in frustration. "You don't care. I don't care..." Virgil internally flinched as the pain in his chest grew just over saying that. "Let's just forget anything happened."

"Don't say that. Virgil, you just don't understand."

"What don't I understand, Roman? You fucked me over..." Roman's eyes flashed and Virgil started to turn away, only for the other to grab his arm and make him stop. "Let me go."

"Virgil, please..."

"Roman, make up your fucking mind." Virgil yelled out causing ROman to jump as the anxious one yanked his arm away from Roman. "You either accept that it happened and we move on from here or we pretend it didn't and go back to hating each other. You can't have it both ways."

"Virgil..."

"Roman, we fucked. It happened... so get over it. If this is what it's going to be like than Jesus Christ. One minute you're flirting with me and the next you want nothing to do with me." Roman just stared at Virgil with wide eyes but his expressed was blank. "You need to tell me what you want because I'm not going to handle the fucking whiplash."

"You're acting like those clingy bitches after a one night stand." That hurt. That hurt bad. Virgil's eyes darkened and Roman could tell he messed up bad.

"Really, am I? Am I acting like that or... am I acting like someone who had his v-card taken by a man who's repetitively said he hated him?" Roman whole body felt like it was thrown into a frozen hell. And the way Virgil just stood there with his usually annoyed look didn't make matters any better for him. 

"You... You were a..." Virgil rolled his eyes and Roman nearly collapsed. "Shit." Virgil waited... and he waited... and he waited. He thought Roman would say something but he just stood there with this stupid look in his eyes. 

"Whatever, Roman... I guess that it then." That snapped Roman out of it only to find Virgil about to leave.

"What?"

"You've made your choice, Roman. Clear none of this matters. I don't matter." Roman violently flinched as he clutched his shirt tightly.

"Virgil, don't leave me..." Virgil spun around with rage in his eyes scaring the shit out of Roman making him jump.

"DON'T LEAVE YOU! Hey, Asshole, you're the one being a fucktard. If I really meant something to you, you wouldn't be pushing me away!" Roman scowled as Virgil threw his arms out. "I don't know what you think I am... but I am NOT some fucking pushover."

"Virgil..."

"I will not take shit from anyone... not even you."

"Virgil."

"If you keep pushing me, you're going to..."

"VIRGIL!" Roman pushed Virgil into the wall accidentally setting off the hand dryer beside him as he kissed Virgil with such desperation it would have been clear as day to anyone that saw it. Virgil was frozen in shock as Roman pulled away. "Don't leave me... I don't... I want you, Virgil. Trust me. I want this. I just... can't yet."

"Why?" Roman frowned as he stepped back giving Virgil his space. "Why can't you?"

"I can't... because people could see." Virgil scoffed and Roman shock his head. "It's not like that... I just lost my boyfriend, what... a month ago?"

"So?" Roman shot Virgil this confused look and the guy shrugged with an unsympathetic roll of his eyes. "I really couldn't care less, Roman. It's not like I knew the guy. Why would it matter if you and I..."

"Because he just died... very tragically to." Virgil just raised his eyebrow making Roman groan in frustration. "He's not the first one I've lost either Virgil. If people see that I've moved one so fast they're going to start asking questions... drawing conclusions... point fingers." Virgil narrowed his eyes as Roman started to shake. "I don't... I don't want to risk anything."

"You're afraid they'll blame you. Didn't he die because of car crash... drunk driving?" Roman looked away unable to lie to Virgil who didn't even notice because he was lost in his own thoughts. "I still don't understand why it would matter... though I can understand why I don't... Fine." Roman glanced over to see Virgil smiling as he held his hand out to the prince. "At least I know. It wasn't like I was going to let you go anyway..." Roman's eyes widened as Virgil frowned looking off in confusion. "Actually I have no idea what I would have done... I just know I don't want you to hate me."

"I don't." Roman pulled Virgil in kissing his forehead with a soft smile. "I can't hate you. I love you to much." Roman laughed as he started to pull Virgil out of the bathroom. Just as the door closed the door of the last stall opened revealing a man with a very sinister smile.

"Oh, this is going to be great!"
