Tyrion POV

The doors of the crypt opened. Varys and I approached to see who it was...Sansa. Soon after she entered, the doors were barred shut. Sansa looked at all the women and children, terrified for their lives. As she came closer, she looked at us. We both remained silent; bad sign I presumed. I chose not to speak and began to drink.

Jaime POV

The forces of the living began to withdraw from the battlefield. There were far too many wights to fight them head on. Maybe if we attack them from the walls we could stand a chance. The castle's gate remained opened in case of this scenario. Brienne and I ran to the door and guarded it, making sure soilders of the living were coming in and not the dead.

Brienne- Go! Go!

She shouted at the soilders to hurry. Faces were becoming recognizable; Podrick entered, then Tormund, then The Hound, then Jorah...wait what? Jorah was meant to be attacking the White Walkers, yet he's across the battlefield from them.

Jorah- They're coming!

Jaime- Who?

Jorah- Walkers, Giants...all of them

I viewed the battlefield as Jorah went in. All I could see was the wights fighting the soilders. Suddenly the Dothraki began to run in; most of them were riderless. Apparently Jorah was right, though I couldn't see any of the giants or White Walkers. Brienne and I shared a look as more of the Army of the Living retreated.

Davos POV

The Army of the Dead were began to invade the castle; it was time to light the trench. I grabbed the pair of torches and started to wave them around. As I looked at the cloudy sky, I realized that neither Daenerys or Jon could see us. They were lost in the storm.

Davos- They can't see us.

I felt someone brush up against my arm and turned around...a Red Priestess stood near me, overlooking the battlefield. I turned back to the northern forces.

Davos- Light the trench!

A series of flaming arrows were shot, all of them failing to set the wood aflame. As soon as they would make contact with the trench wood, the fire would blow away from the wind. I looked over to the Red Priestess standing by me.

Davos- Can any of your workers light the trench?

She didn't take her eyes off the field.

Kinvara- We came here for a reason, didn't we?

She motioned her head towards the trench. I turned to view the field once more. A few Red Priests and Priestesses walked towards the trenches, with groups of Unsullied protecting them from the wights. They placed their palms on the wood spikes of the trenches.

Daenerys POV

Jon and I were still lost in the storm, desperately trying to find our way back to the field. It was simply too thick and too dark to navigate through. All of a sudden, I could see fire...a wall of fire, surrounding Winterfell. The trenches lit up, making the castle's appearance viewable to Jon and I. The blizzard around the castle was starting to weaken by the strength of the fire. We flew our dragons back towards Winterfell and continued burning portions of the Army of the Dead.

*****

Beric POV

The trenches lit up and took many wights in the process. Once the dragons came back, more of the wights were killed. I looked around to see a handful of soilders getting inside the castle, I followed. The defenders closed the doors after I entered. I approached Sandor, who was in a bit of hurry to get inside. Instead of walking up the battlements, he was headed inside.
