Cersei POV

Every morning I've woken up to the same nightmare. Whether it was of Joffrey, or Myrcella, or even Tommen...they would all end the same. I would helplessly stare at each and every single one of their lifeless bodies, suppressing the bitter emotions that have only grown to be uncontrollable...even for me. I wasn't right, but at least I had my unborn child...my last sign of hope.

As the sun bathed its light into my chambers, I felt a sudden warmth...though I woke up with an uncomforting sensation. It didn't take long before I would realize where that sensation was coming from. I quickly sat up from my position only to see a pool of blood to where I laid. I screamed, loud enough for The Mountain to hear outside of my chambers; loud enough to send Qyburn rushing in.

Qyburn- Your grace, are you alright?

I lacked the strength to reply and remained sitting in my bed, screaming as tears began to fall from my eyes. At some point, Qyburn looked at me silently, concerning me even more.

Qyburn- I'm very sorry my queen...

I was no longer screaming, but was ever the more terrified. I look at him silently as more tears found their way down my face.

Some time later I was in the throne room, seated in front of Harry Strickland. Even though there was to be a truce with the Targaryens and Starks, I needed to make sure we were prepared to attack.

Harry- Some of our elephants have fallen sick ever since their arrival; a few have perished. I fear many won't be fit for a battle.

Cersei- It's quite alright Captain Strickland. In any case, it is only a truce. I encourage your elephants, horses, and men to remain outside the city walls once the usurper arrives. The Lannister forces will remain within.

Euron- And what of my ships? Do you want them to be unmanned as well?

Cersei- Not all of them. I want to make sure the Red Keep is protected enough.

Euron- As you command.

Harry- Will that be all your grace?

I reluctantly replied. My head wasn't in the right place so it took me longer than usual to act upon my decisions.

Cersei- Yes...thank you for your time.

He bowed.

Harry- My queen.

He spoke at a reasonably low pitch, yet the word "queen" echoed throughout the room all the same. It might have been irrelevant to the rest in the room, but the word or rather the concept of it kept lingering in my head...

I nodded and watched him leave the room, as Euron then centered himself within my sight.

Euron- I heard troubling stories this morning...about our baby.

I remained silent but my face expressed enough of the right emotion to communicate my feelings. Euron took a step closer to the throne.

Euron- I'm very sorry...

I didn't respond. I took a few deep breaths as I was still in much shock and disbelief. My last child, the last thing that kept me hopeful of the future, was taken from me.

Euron- Maybe after the war...we can have another.

My sorrow turned into disgust. To think the Lannister Dynasty I worked so hard to make a reality ended so abruptly...and quickly. It ended when Tommen died; when Jaime left me for good. All I could think about in the moment was how that witch told me this would happen; there was no way of escaping this.
