He was finally gonna ask her.

The girl of his dreams.

His girlfriend for 5 years

Kaycee rice.

Kaycee was more than everything he has ever wished for in a girl. She was talented, smart, beautiful and kind. Basically his dream-girl.

8 years ago he fell in love with her.

Her beautiful hazel eyes, with the little green in the middle. Her long brown curly hair that he always ran his fingers through for calming her down. Her eye dimple, the one right under her eye that's he would always poke and it would make her giggle . Her smile. The smile that could light up his world. The smile that always made him happy, just by looking at it for a second.

He was overwhelmed by how lucky he had gotten to call her his. To wake up to her face every morning and going to bed with her every night, was the things he loved the most and he have enjoyed it for the last 5 years. And he wasent gonna let that stop for the rest of their lives.

So when he first got the idea he wasn't a slightest bit unsure that he would propose to her.

Kaycee had just come home from a 2 month tour with Billie Elish and Sean had been just chilling and teaching in LA.

He had missed her like crazy but he was proud that she made her dream come to a reality. He couldn't find a better time to propose than this weekend.

Is he was gonna do it with both
families at a restaurant?

alone a fancy and romantic picnic in the park?

Or maybe just home the two of them alone and let it be special only to them?

He didn't know

But he had to make one thing sure first.

That it got approved by Brad.

Brad was like Sean's extra dad. He always looked after Sean and told him not to take it too hard on himself when he was younger with toured and classes everywhere all the time. He and Brad talked a lot, example when they were at the lake house, and the girls where doing some girl things or swimming, Sean and brad would have a lot of time to talk.

In the start it was a bit awkward. Them talking. But eventually it eased up and their talks when smoothly. Talking about raising kids, money, business, food, the dance industry, being a farther and a lot of other things like that.

After Sean and Kaycee announced they were dating, instead of Brad locking Sean out he came him a big hug and from there their connection just grew bigger and better.

Now their talks where over a glass of whiskey of Brads rare collection. Sean promised to always take care of Kaycee and Brad trusted him. But he wasn't the biggest fan when Sean and Kaycee would kiss for maybe a little to long or lingering touches.

It was not that Brad didn't like them together. Far from it. He loved that his daughter found someone that made her happy. And someone who treated her like a queen like Sean did he loved more. But still. Kaycee was his youngest daughter. But brad behaved right around them.

Sometimes Laura needed to give him an elbow in the side, a touch that said "behave"

And it was the same with Devon. Sean also maybe a strong bond to him even before Sean and Kaycee decided to start dating. Devon also behaved but sometimes gave Sean and angry stare when Sean was practically drooling over her in a two piece black halter top bikini.
