Noah walked up the stairs to the second floor with his clothes in hand, the place seemed darker than before. He paused for a minute as he looked down the left side of the hall.

The universe makes people meet in strange ways...

He sighed as he walked down it, finding the farthest door from the stairs, he could hear Carrie inside. He lifted his hand to knock but put it down, it felt... wrong. He instead sat down on the floor, leaning his back against the wall before speaking up.

"Carrie, I just want to say..." he took a deep breath, "I-I didn't mean to upset you. I didn't know you'd broken up with your boyfriend... god, I seem so pathetic..."

"I thought you would've known from earlier with the cop." He perked up when he heard her voice.

"No... I wasn't paying attention. I was more concerned about getting caught than anything. I'm sorry for upsetting you." Carrie went silent. His heart sank as he pulled his knees up to his chest. Something about being ignored by Carrie made him hurt a little. He felt like he was going to cry before the door opened.

"Noah..." Noah looked up as he saw Carrie.

"Carrie..."

"You wanna come in?"

"Yeah, that'd be nice." Noah stood up, grabbing his clothes and walking into her room. It was nice, a TV sitting across from her bed. He looked around, noticing her bathroom was attached to her bedroom.

"You need to use the bathroom?" She asked Noah, who was already turning red in the face.

"Nah, I just... need to get changed."

"You can change out here," Carrie looked at him, "I don't mind."

"Don't look, alright?"

"How about you just turn around and call it good?"

"A-Alright," Noah did as he was told, taking off the hoodie before receiving a gasp from Carrie.

"W-What is it?"

"Your back... it's... bloody..."

"W-what?!"

"Don't worry, I got this, just, come sit on the bed."

"A-Alright," Noah did as he was told, sitting on the bed covering himself when Carrie walked in with bandages and anti-septic.

"Alright, turn around for me," Noah did as he was told, cringing as Carrie cleaned his wounds and put the bandages over them. Though it was supposed to be a stinging sensation, it felt more like an electric one. His heart raced as he felt it, was that normal?

"Now look at me," Noah turned back around to face Carrie, arms still covering his chest, "take your arms off of your chest."

"N-No,"

"What do you mean no?" He could tell Carrie was getting mad with him, "Take them off."

"I-I don't feel comfortable doing that-,"

"TAKE THEM OFF OR I WILL PRY THEM OFF MYSELF!" Noah jumped as he heard Carrie yell, why did it scare him so much? Was it because she was an Addams? He took them off as Carrie felt on his chest, looking to find any scars.

"Alright, you're free," Noah looked up at her, leaving his chest uncovered, "aren't you gonna go get changed?"

"I-I'm good," Noah looked down at the floor, "I think I'll just... get ready for bed."

"But it's 2 in the afternoon."

"I know, but I just wanna relax..." Carrie watched as he took off his jeans and tossed them with the other clothes. He looked at her, turning red in the face before getting into her bed and cuddling up to a stuffed lion she had.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" Carrie climbed in the bed beside him before he cocked his head.

"A movie?"

"You don't know what a movie is?"

"I know what a movie IS. I move a lot though, I'm more concerned about my safety than a movie."

"Well just sit back, relax, and watch this with me."

"Alright," Noah smiled as he sat up straight in bed, watching Carrie as she turned on the TV.
