Noah, Wednesday, and Carrie all wandered into the hotel where a dark-haired girl turned around with the ring of the receptionist bell. Seeing her face, Noah immediately recognized her and groaned.
"Sup buds, Noah, how you hangin'?"
"What do you want Lydia?"
"You know her?" Carrie looked over at Noah.
"Course I do, she's the daughter of Beetlejuice. I assume my dad sent you here to kill me or whatever?"
"Oh yeah, 110%, but I ain't into that."
"Wait, what?" Carrie's jaw dropped at those words.
"Well, lemme just tell you somethin' sweet cheeks, your boyfriend is a literal nightmare. His father is scarier than I'll ever be and with the stories that people are tellin' me, I don't want that shit!"
"So, what are you gonna say to my dad?" Noah glared at her.
"Simple, I'll beat myself up and say I failed, I know Wyatt doesn't want to fight you either pretty boy."
"W-Wyatt's still in the group?!"
"Yeah, chained in by his pop's, you ladies can head on up, Room 217." Lydia smiled and slid the key over the desk as Wednesday took Carrie and led her up to the second floor.
"This place is a dump Lydia, why did you choose here?"
"Cause it's a dump, I'm a dump, it works. Dumperiblium or somethin' like that."
"Only you Lydia," Noah laughed.
"So, in order to keep me from killin' you, you gotta answer what's killin' me!"
"Shout it out, baby."
"Whose the side chick?"
"Side chick?"
"That blonde babe who was beside you! She's smokin' like a car on fire!"
"Oh, Carrie? No, we're just friends."
"Oh, she friend-zoned you, man? Damn, that's a true killer right there."
"No, Carrie and I are just friends, we've always been just friends."
"Yeah and I've always had black hair, we both know we're lyin'! You don't even got the tiniest crush on her?"
"Oh I have a huge crush on her," Noah didn't notice Carrie coming out of the room, "it's just that..."
"Just what No-go? Spill the beans! I want the juice all over my brain!"
"She hates me, Lydia. She truly hates me because I'm a killer kid. She's gorgeous, nice, sweet, or so I thought. She hates me now because she said I..."
"You what?"
"I kissed her. I don't remember that though... then again I was drugged up by Tim anyway."
"I heard, Tim is toast now. His dad was so upset his son would be his dinner."
"It's just... I really care for her Lydia, she's the first person who accepted me for who I was truly, not because of my parents. Now that she hates me though, I don't think I could ever go back."
"If you can't go back then don't go back!"
"W-what?"
"Look, if she doesn't have feelings for you then it's her loss. If you feel like you can't go back, don't go back. Run off, go find Wyatt and go make out under a tree somewhere, be gay, straight, whatever, I don't care! She doesn't need you, Noah, someone else might though."
"A-Alright, I'll pack my things and leave later tonight."
"That's my boy!" Noah felt his heart ache at the thought of leaving Carrie, but it was for the best.
"I'm gonna head to bed for a bit though, see you later Lydia."
"See ya chum!"
Noah walked upstairs and then saw Carrie, looking back at him from the overlook. She'd heard what he said.
"C-Carrie?"
"N-Noah... please..."
"Carrie, you didn't need to hear that I-,"
"I-I'm gonna go in..." Carrie walked inside the room as Noah followed her, the shower running in the bathroom.
"Carrie, I'm sorry, it's just best for both of us."
"A-Alright, if that's what you want then do what you want. I-I-I'm not restricting you." Carrie cried into a pillow as Noah watched in tears as well, only his were silent. He came to her side, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close.
"Carrie..." He whispered.
"Yeah?"
"I'm always gonna be here..." He choked, "I love you..."
"I love you too...."
The two cuddled up together before falling asleep in each other's arms on the bed.
