"Noah," Carrie looked over at Noah, nervously tapping his glove on his knee, "what's wrong?""They know where we're going, someone must have tipped them off."
"Mike..." Carrie whispered as she looked up to Wednesday, "Wednesday, we need to change where we're heading."
"Why? Is something wrong?"
"Wednesday," Noah looked up, "Mike told the Killer Kids where we're heading, they'll find us this way."
"Alright then," Wednesday sped up, "looks like we're going to Grandma's, Carrie."
"Let's go."
Wednesday kept speeding into the woods when a chainsaw flew out from the trees and stuck into her car. Wednesday hit the brakes as she looked around, the chainsaw slightly digging into the black metal.
"What in Satan's castle?"
"Jim..." Noah whispered as he unbuckled his seatbelt and stepped out of the car, Wednesday rolling down her window.
"Be careful, Noah."
"I will... lock the car." Wednesday rolled her window back up as Noah stood out in the forest, listening to the sounds of the crickets.
"It's like you're sacrificing yourself to me," A man walked out of the woods, a mask over his face as he pulled his chainsaw out of Wednesday's car.
"Nice to see you too, Jim."
"I heard you cut up Vince pretty good."
"Yeah, and you're next if you don't leave me and my family alone."
"Family? Your daddy isn't here right now, Noah."
"Yeah, but my girlfriend is, let's not make this too bloody."
"I can't agree to those terms," Jim rose his chainsaw and with a quick slash, it cut into Noah's arm, he shouted as he pulled away, holding it with his glove.
"Leave us alone Jim."
"You should've come home," Jim slashed at Noah again as he dodged it.
"I will never come home! NEVER!" Noah shouted, taking his glove and slashing Jim's face, the mask ripping as Jim fell to the ground. He backed up as Noah towered over him menacingly.
"You can never make me go back Jim, I will never go back to the life I lived then."
"Please Noah, have mercy."
"Your flying chainsaw nearly killed my aunt."
"Noah," Jim crab-walked back into a tree trunk before noticing he was screwed, Noah slashed him across the chest as he shouted, Carrie and Wednesday panicking from the car.
With a loud thud in the woods, the two unlocked the car and stepped outside, Noah emerging from the trees holding his injured arm.
"Let's get out of this place."
"Noah!" Carrie ran up to him and helped him walk back to the car, "What did he do?!"
"Cut me, but don't worry, he's taken care of."
Carrie helped him inside and buckled him in as she grabbed the first aid kit and got ready for their drive. As they headed down the road, Wednesday's GPS directed them to the nearest hospital, Carrie taking off Noah's shirt and cleaning his wound.
"That's pretty bad, who even was that?" Carrie looked at Noah, his head leaned against the headrest as his bloody glove sat on the floor.
"Jim, the son of Leatherface, he was the oldest out of everyone, but he broke under confrontation."
"Did he cut you with a chainsaw?"
"Yep," Noah looked over at Carrie, "how bad is it?"
"Pretty bad..."
"Don't worry, the hospital is only about 15 miles away." Wednesday worriedly spoke.
"Noah," Noah looked at Carrie with a smile, "I'm gonna put this cleaner on your wound, I'm going to warn you, it'll burn."
"It's fine, anything to fix me up."
Carrie applied the cleaner, Noah shouting as it seeped into the open scar. She ignored his shouts until she'd cleaned the full wound and put a gauze over it. Noah still winced, trying to hold back his tears, when Carrie looked over at him. He was biting his lip.
"Noah," Carrie wrapped him in a hug, "I know it hurts, but it's okay, we'll get through this together. Alright?"
"Alright Carrie," Noah breathed softly into her ear, "I trust you."
