It took a couple hours till I got to any familiar street. I was coming home from 4 long years in Parstons College. Studying design was my dream and it was incredible. Finally at 21 I can do what I want and I'm free. I was on the road home, I got close and finally parked in the driveway. The house looked the same and I couldn't wait to greet everyone! I looked across the street and there it was, Q's house. Boy I missed him, he never texted me saying he's sorry or video chatted. He completely forget all about me and It took me forever to get over him. I'm not sure I even am fully over him. He was my world and now I don't have him anymore. I quickly got out of the car, leaving all my bags behind. I ran inside the house, it seemed bigger now.
"Guess who's back!!" I yelled
"Zoey!" My mom immediately gave me the biggest hug ever and a kiss.
"How was college?"
"Unbelievable! I finished and now it's on to new and better things!"
"I'm extremely proud of you. I love you so much darling."
"I love you too!"My mom helped me get my bags upstairs and settle down. It's gonna take awhile before I'm used to this house again. We decided to have a nice family lunch in the kitchen.
"Have you talked to Brian lately?" My mom asked
"No. Have you?"
"Sadly no. I'm sorry Hun."
"It's fine, it was really hard to get on without him but I'm fine."Back in my dorm room, I had 2 others girls living with me. They never heard of Impractical Jokers and I wasn't about to tell them. So every time they left the room, I would start to watch the show, every Thursday they had this drama club and I was free to watch the new episodes without hiding anything or any suspicious looks. I never told them about Brian either. I laughed and cried at the jokes, but not all of the crying was joyful. I couldn't stand to look at Q all happy so I stopped watching completely. I missed a whole bunch of episodes and that's ok. He never bothered to get in touch with me, if he cared he would've tried. I never even got over him which is the sad part, can't say the same for Mr. Brian Quinn the famous person. Life was hard enough.
"I made some spaghetti, one of your favorites." my mom said.
"Yay! Thank you." I started eating
"I cannot say it enough but I'm proud of you."
"Oh mom. Wait.. Where's dad?"
"I was hoping you wouldn't ask until later."
"Why what's wrong?
"Well your father... He...he was in a car accident a few days ago after your graduation. I didn't bother telling you so you wouldn't worry and focus on your grades."
"WHAT! Is he ok?"
"He's in the hospital right now."
"Well let's go! I need to see him right now."We basically ran to the car. My mom drove. How can this have happened!? My dad was in a car accident and I didn't even bother asking where he was before. My mind was just stuck on Q! I had teary eyes the whole ride. This man raised me and loved me with all his heart. It was difficult leaving him for so long, my heart ached just thinking about him. We arrived at the hospital.
