Chapter 9.

There was a knock on the door and Hailey walked in as I was about to open it.

"Hey! I just let myself in, hope that's ok." She said

"Hey, my home is now your home." I answered

"Great well I looked outside and saw Brian get into his car, while he did that he actually looked at me and not a glance. He stared!"

"That's weird... Ever since I've told you about my life with the guys you've been like all over them."

"I only do that to help. Honestly not to hurt your feelings but they aren't even good looking."

"Hailey! You're a liar! They're fabulous."

"Glad you're in a good mood. Are you hungry? Cause I am!"

"No but food is in the fridge and pantry, you know what to do."

"Ight thanks."

She took out a Greek salad and started eating it. I grabbed my phone and layed on the couch. Is this what my life has come to now? A lonely girl with a miserable life? I looked at the reflection in my phone and realized how disguisting I looked! I need a spa day or something and I knew exactly who to take.

"Hailey?"

"Mm...yea?" She said with her mouth full"

"Wanna go to the spa?" She dropped her fork and her mouth even while it still had food in it.

"I thought you'd never ask!!" She squealed

"Okay well you finish that salad and I'm going to get dressed."

I ran upstairs and chose a black tight long sleeved shirt with a dark red mini skirt with tights. I put on my dark brown long boots and I just curled my hair. I didn't bother with the makeup since they have all kinds of watery stuff there that I would probably smudge it. I should get a massage and a mud bath. Maybe a facial as well. Wax my eyebrows... Wait...wax everything and get my nails done while. This was a great day, but I had no money to pay.
We walked into the salon, Hailey slipped the lady her card and we walked into the locker rooms.

They gave us the softest robes and I immediately changed into it, Hailey did the same. I never realized how fit Hailey was when I accidentally glanced at her. She needs to give me tips. The lady took me into the mud bath section and I relaxed in it, Hailey went for a massage. I would join her later then get the facial while they wax us. I looked at the rest of the pretty girls who were there. I wish I could look like them. I finished the mud bath and went on for the massage, Hailey was almost done with hers.

"Hey." I said

"Oh hey Zoey."

"This is heaven!"

"I know right, I come here almost every week."

"You never told me that."

"I didn't think you were that girl to go to the spa."

"Well if I really need to go then I will."

"Yay! Spa buddy! Anyway I was actually thinking about you."

"You were...?"

"Yea but not in a weird way. I was thinking how are you going to pay for everything since you don't have a job."

"Ah crap. You're right."

"We can look for jobs when we get home, but what about the funeral? How are you going to plan that?"

"My mom's sister is going to help me but you know what's also great about being the only child/only person my parents loved?"

"Oh god what?"

"My parents left everything in the will to me. EVERYTHING TO ME! Even some cash but not enough for years and years to keep me on my feet so that job thing will have to happen unfortunately."

"Damn lucky. What was in the will?"

The lady finished with Hailey and she moved over to the wax table which was still near mine. I decided to cut my massage short and join her. They did my facial while they waxed us.

"Well... First of all the house and money. Then everything my parents had like clothes and personal items and including.... Well guess!"

"Oh god... I'm too scared."

"It's pretty exciting!"

"Can I just ask, when did you find all this out?" She asked

"A day after you left my house. I went down to the place and found out things I had no idea about!"

The lady who was waxing me pulled super hard on the strip that it left a huge red mark and caused me to yell a bit. Hailey laughed.

"So what is the big thing you're talking about?"

"You know my evil grandma right?"

"The bitch? Yes."

"Well in the will my grandma left everything to my mom, including the mansion. My mom didn't want my grandma to bother us so she continued to live in that mansion and eventually hired Jeffery. But my grandma will die eventually, so my mom put the mansion and including Jeffery into her will. SO THAT MEANS IF SHE LEFT EVERYTHING IN HER WILL TO ME AND THE MANSION AND JEFFERY WERE IN THE WILL, I GET THEM!"

Hailey choked at the words that came out of my mouth and the wax strip made her tremble.

"Dude! You're loaded!"

"I don't know if I should keep the mansion..."

"WHAT! Excuse me!? You're keeping it or I am and if I take it, you know it's gonna be made into the Barbie dream house."

"I just like my home right now and besides my grandma still lives there. I should call her though and talk things out but.... She's a bitch."

"I'll come with! You know just in case it gets out of hand."

"Yeah."

We finished our day at the spa and went home, I don't know if I should've told Hailey about the mansion. She's gonna always talk about it and if I ever get Q again I don't want him to really know about that house. I don't like expensive things, I just like my home the one where my parents actually lived and loved me in. Not some place where I hated going to visit. I had a lot on my plate.
