Chapter 6.

Hailey raced over to the shoe store and bought like 2 pumps, 2 wedges and boots. She's lucky she has all this money to spend. I still have to get her a gift and I can't do it if she's around. Maybe a distraction would help. Damn it! The shoes were perfect, I could've sneaked out and got her something. Now I can't or can I?

"Hailey do you still need those fantastic dresses you saw in that catalog a couple days ago?" I asked

"Yes but they don't sell them here, why?"

"I think they do. Look."

I pointed across the store to the other side of the mall. There was a store with a thousand cute dresses that I wanted but could never afford. Sadly Hailey could.

"Oh em gee!! Let me buy these shoes first and then I'm so gonna shop till I drop."

"Then you won't mind if I slip away and go buy some more things?"

"Sure. Go ahead. You know where I'll be. If I'm not there then check the food court."

"K see Ya."

Well that worked well. I decided to head into some clothing stores and makeup stores. But what do you get someone who has everything? I also can't afford what she doesn't have. Hailey is too lucky, I can't wait for my present though! Maybe it's a puppy! I really want a golden retriever, I've been asking for it my whole life and I've never gotten it. I get lonely and I need company at home. I went into sephora and got a few things that Hailey texted me she wanted awhile back. She's got a long list. I then noticed she wanted a beanie, a laptop which she surprisingly doesn't have, and some fashion items from Paris or something. Man this girl!
I got her a few things and then started to go back, I was thinking maybe Hailey was right. Getting Q a gift just in case could be a good idea. But the thing is what to get him? I can't ask and also what to do if I can't give it to him?

I walked into a game store and picked out 3 Xbox games he could like. Then I got some comics which I couldn't remember the names of. I walked into a store which had t shirts of everything, it's weird. Men have it so much easier. I picked out a hoodie and a superman shirt. Hopefully he will like these. I was so happy walking up the the cashier that I totally forgot about reality. He's not gonna want this. He's going to think I'm a stalker ex girlfriend who just can't get over him. I sighed. Maybe I am that girl, I just don't want to be alone for Christmas or any day. I want to be married to him. I know it sounds creepy but I'm in love. I love Brian Michael Quinn and I'm not afraid to say it.

"Boyfriend shopping?" asked the cashier

"You can say that." I smiled

"He's gonna love this. You're a good girlfriend."

"Thanks." I got a nervous feeling.

I met up with Hailey at the food court, I got a pizza. She was showing me all her dresses, I lost count after 12.

"So how was my present shopping? Did you get what I wanted?"

"How did you know I was getting you something?" I asked

"Magic. But did you?"

"I don't know. You'll find out."

"Oh you're playing this game."

"So I actually took your advice and got Brian stuff. I think it's kinda crazy though. It seems like I'm the ex girlfriend who can't get over the guy."

"Really? Yay and don't worry about it. He will appreciate this and you never know, he could've gotten you something too. Besides you know you're that girl."

"Oh hush. I hope you're right or there's another thing coming if you mess this up."

"I always am right Hun."
