Q eventually let go. I was speechless, Hailey was staring at us with her mouth full but the only way I could tell was because her mouth was wide open. Q was standing there smiling, waiting for a response.
"I did not expect that." I smiled
"Yeah. I just had to Ya know."
"Haha I know. Thanks."
"Uhm so see ya later." He said
"Bye." I closed the door still with a huge smile on my face.
"Oh em gee!! Ahh!" Hailey shrieked out of excitement
"He so wants you!"
I didn't reply to her, I was still really speechless, but I was the most happiest person ever. A nose ring and a kiss all in the same day! But was it wrong to go for Q after he just had a break up? I asked Hailey.
"Feels a bit wrong I know, but it really doesn't matter. After all it was just Marley." She said
"True but I'm scared she will come after me."
"She's full of bologna! You call the cops and boom she's outta here!"
"Yeah I guess you're right. This is so magical."
"Are you going to tell the other guys about this?"
"I'm sure Brian will tell them. After all I'm sure he's pretty excited about this as I am."
"He so is! I'm so happy for you!"
Hailey gave me a tight hug and then dragged me upstairs to my room.
"What are you doing?" I asked still being dragged by my wrist.
"We need to pick out outfits just in case he has any more surprises."
"Surprises? Hailey this is so unnecessary."
"No! I'm picking out casual, date, night, and party looks. Oh and for sleeping it's just lingerie."
"No! I sleep in shorts and a t shirt when it's warm. When it's cold I do sweats."
"That's not sexy at all."
"I don't care. Hailey just pick out everything besides sleeping. I know there's no stopping you so."
"Fine so get out! Also I'm leaving some pics of hair styles and makeup on the mirror to match."
"Okay crazy psycho love lady." I went back downstairs.
I don't want Hailey to get over excited and over prepared. I bet I'm not wearing any of those outfits, I feel bad but she doesn't know my style. Her ideas aren't my ideas. It's just not me. The girl Q feel in love with is me and he wouldn't want me to change. Not now atleast, how do I break this to Hailey though? I guess I just won't. I sat down on the couch, My phone vibrated and I checked it. It was from Q. He still had my number? I never delete numbers but guys usually do, this is surprising.
"Hi. I hope you know who this is." It read
"Hi Q :)"
"Oh so you know! Good."
"Yeah. What's up?"
"Just wanted to text a quick hey for fun ya know."
"Yup I know."
"I'm glad we had that talk actually, it put things in perspective."
"Yeah and when you broke up with me I guess I was too in the moment at college to think of reality and what you actually meant. You see sometimes we're too into the moment to look at the big picture. We fail to see things in perspective because we're too absorbed in what's taking place at that very instant. The thing is we should face reality. Find ourselves from being lost in the moment and think about everything the way that it is. Because sometimes being realistic can save us from pain and disappointment."
"Beautiful words. I agree. I was so attached to you that I couldn't bare to date you while not seeing you. This is the problem with getting attached to someone. When they leave, you just feel lost."
"Are we being poetic right now?" I asked
"I'm afraid so haha."
"Anyway, that's how I felt. I'm so happy we are on the same page. I've missed you so much, but I don't want to really talk about this all through text."
"I've missed you too and you're right. I'll let you have your fun today. We should hang out soon."
"Yeah!"
"Bai :) (I heard some girls say bye like that now, is this the hip way?)"
"So hip. Bai!"
I put my phone down, he's so lame. But cute lame. Hailey came down in a pair of my velvet black pumps and a little black dress. I had no idea I had those clothes.
"What are you wearing?" I looked at her with my arms folded and a smile on my face
"Found this little thing in the back of your closet, can't believe you didn't wear this before. I'm heading to a club. I did all the outfits, took no longer than 20 minutes. So fun!"
"Glad you liked it. But what club? This early?"
"It's in New York City."
"What? Hailey you can't go!"
"Why not? You're not my mother!"
"Speaking of her, what will she think if you're not home later? Also why my dress?"
"I told her I'm sleeping over and because I didn't bring my own."
"I'm not lying to your mom!"
"Zoey please! You have your man, let me try and find mine."
"Fine I guess but don't get my pumps or dress dirty and be back here tomorrow no later than 5pm. Also make sure to not bring the guy home either."
"Yay thanks!" She hugged me and then left.
What's wrong with her? She doesn't need a man, no woman does! She also shouldn't lie to her parents and even if she is grown up, she has to be careful. But what am I going to do? All alone in a huge house and nothing to do. I should really dig into my will and figure everything out about my parents, like what to do with all their things? ooo I think I should spend a weekend at my grandma's. I know right, never thought I would want to actually go there but since it's going to be my mansion after she dies, I should go check it out.
I gave my grandma a ring and she was upset at the idea since my mother wouldn't be going with me. She hated me and the idea that I get the mansion but she said ok. I can't wait to see Jeffery! I decided to go after Christmas week, so since Christmas is on Thursday I'll go the Saturday after. So fun!
