I wake up in a white room, but my head is too fuzzy to notice anything else. Everything is a little blurry still, but that's alright because this will be all over soon. I get up, and it turns out that I was sitting on fluffy, soft clouds. I must be in a dream.

I walk forward a little steadily because all of my dreams might seem nice and happy at first, but that's where it tricks you. You go to smell flowers, and they turn into snakes and bite you, killing you.

I step forward a little quicker but still on guard. I find gold gates with pearls on the outside rims.

Wonder what will happen now? They'll probably kill me. Slow and deadly... the scariest kind. I think.

I run to the gates thinking that I might have a chance at surviving this dream, but that was a mistake. I'm a foot away from the gates and they open. I don't step in, but I see crystal seas and glassy roads that have no cars to be seen.

A man with a white robe and dark brown hair steps forward... Jesus. I'm in heaven! Why? I can't die! I'm glad I got picked to go to heaven, but Greg needs me! I have to go back somehow!

Jesus asks calmly, "Why should I let you in?"

"You shouldn't," I reply, "I'm glad I got picked to come to heaven, I truly am, but my little brother, Greg, needs me. I can't leave yet. Please my Lord, let me go to my brother for a little longer."

Jesus nods with his hands behind his back, "This is why I let you in. You put others first, even if it means greater things for yourself. I will take you to Earth myself, but remember, stay who you are. Never change. You're perfect the way you are."

I don't know why he would say that, but he must see me change in the future for some reason. I nod with a smile.

"Thank you for understanding. I love you," I compliment.

He nods and say, "But before you leave there's someone that wants to see you."

I think for a moment. Who in the world would want to see me that's in Heaven. And when I look back, I see Rue, my older sister. She runs to me since I can't go inside the gates. I hug her tightly, like I'll never see her again. I probably won't since you only get one chance in Heaven. I might though, I don't really know.

"I love you, and you made the right choice by keeping Greg safe," she tells me.

"Rue, we've missed you," I reply, "I love you, too."

I start to cry. Not because I have to leave her and I won't see her in forever, but in joy because I got to see her after missing her for so long.

"I'm sorry I have to break this up, but we have to go, Jordyn." Jesus says and jumps off of the cloud.

"Bye, love you." I say.

"Bye, love you, and tell Logan and Greg I said I love them." she replies.

"I will... don't worry."

I'm nervous at first, to jump, but I'm flying with Jesus. He wouldn't hurt me. So, without moment's hesitation, I jump. The cold wind on my face makes me feel alive, and my hair flying behind me makes me feel like I'm flying with my cape draping behind me. Even though I'm still in the afterlife, I've never felt so alive. Now, I know what Heaven feels like after all this time.

When I snap myself back into reality, I see that I'm falling to Earth. There are no more fluffy clouds, but Jesus is still at my side.

Soon as I about touch my body so I let everyone know I'm still alive, Jesus say, "Never change, Jordyn... never change. I love you."

I nod, "I love you, too."

Then I fall back to Earth.

The first thing I hear is the heart monitor beeping, telling everyone it'll take a little more to get rid of me. Greg runs in a hugs me tightly and I wince, but I let him continue because it must have been so hard to know he almost killed me. I hug him back the best I can, but its like hugging a teddy bear. It's so light and soft it doesn't feel real. I kiss his cheek to let him know I'm there.

He tears up and whispers, "I'm so sorry. I almost killed you. Just look at yourself! You don't deserve this!"

"Don't worry. I'm staying with you. No matter what." I whisper back.
