I struggle against my chains so aggressively that my wrists are starting to bleed. I can't have this happen again. These chains are rubbing me raw and Carl might be dead. I have to know!

"Tell me, and I will let you out. You can see if Carl has made it out. Tell me what I need to know," he replies. He is now a few inches from my face again.

I kick him in the chest and make him fall on his back. He gets up, dusts himself off, and standing a little farther away.

"I will not tell you anything if you don't let me go!" I shout.

"Then, I guess you'll be here for awhile."

He turns on his heels and walks out.

Carl, please come back if you aren't here. I want you. I need you.

I start crying. I knew this was gonna happen if we became close friends... or closer. But we haven't, and that's a good thing I guess. They wouldn't have harmed him as much, but yet... he could be dead.

My sweat is getting really heavy, and my wrists are really starting to sting. My sweat and blood are making my wrists really slippery, and it is getting really annoying just sitting there letting them shake on my wrists... wait...

I wiggle for what seems like hours to get my wrists loose, but I get it after struggling for forever.

I go and kick the door down and run down the hall and find Carl laying on the floor.
