I walk in the lobby light-headed, and I about fall down as I try to sit in my chair, but Daryl helps me sit down.

"You alright?" asks Daryl as he helps me.

"Carl..." is all I can say.

"What about Carl?" asks Nicole.

"He-he is g-gonna... he-he is in trouble..." I look at the ground in front of me, terrified.

"Nicole, please tell us in detail," declares Marvel. I forgot he was still here.

"Why would you care? You are friends with the person who almost killed him!"

"I was, but I told you I don't like them anymore. They're doing stuff that isn't going to help him in life, even though it will make him big bucks."

"I don't believe that for a second! I think you are just trying to mess with our heads to make us think you're on our side when you'll turn on us just like Finnick did me!"

"Why would you think that?"

"Then what were you buying off of that hobo?"

"I was buying two bottles of expensive perfume for Foxface," he hands her two bottles of strong perfume, "I wanted two because I thought I would drop one before I saw her, and if I didn't, she would have two bottles."

"But you bought them before I told you I was bringing you to see her."

"I saw you in the McDonald's window as I walked down here. I knew you were going to the hospital because I saw Daryl's car close by."

"Where?!" shouts Daryl.

"It was at the gas station across the road."

Daryl jumps up from his seat as looks out of the window to his right.

"It's not there now," he turns to Marvel, "Did you see who had it?"

"I saw a man about 30 to 35 years old, color of skin kind of like Jordyn's, he had dark brown hair, and he was wearing a Chevy hat."

"Wait," I reply with my steadiness coming back, "did you hear anyone say his name?"

"No, but he did have a friend. He was about 23 to 28. They were talking about how they need to start hitting the road before someone catches them."

"Crooks..." Foxface says.

"Probably, but we need to find them and get my car back!" shouts Daryl.

I say, "But I'm staying here with Carl."

"Yeah," declares Nicole, "so am I."

"Alright," replies Daryl as he walks out of the automatic doors, "bye!"

After they have walked out, I turn to Nicole, "I think Carl would be up by now."

"Yeah, I want to see him, too. I haven't got to see him yet. Let's go."

We walk past the annoying nurse at the counter, and I stare at her as I walk by, but she doesn't notice because she's on the phone with somebody.

I walk into Carl's room and look at him nervously. He is still asleep, and he's laying on his back propped up. I have no idea how he sleeps like that. I get the remote to the bed and lower it to where it will be more comfortable, and that's when I see his perfect blue eyes barely open. (Yes Macy, I just did that...)

"Hey, Jordyn," says Carl's cracking voice.

"Hey..." I say.

"Are-are you alright?"
