"Hello Finnick..." I scowl.

"Did you see my story on the news?" he puts his hands behind the back, holding them together, and starts walking around the room.

"Yes, and how did you know that I have found a stairway to Heaven?!"

"I didn't officially until just now. See Jordyn, when I first met you, I knew that you were special, and I meant that when I said it. I also thought that you were hot, and that worked out greatly. But anyway, I meant you were special in two ways, beautiful special and unusual special. Every night, I would hear you talking to your sister, Rue, and/or your brother, Greg. I stayed up one night just sitting there right by your side listening to your conversation. You don't keep secrets very tightly like that prison doesn't keep prisoners, officers, or sheriffs..."

I struggle against the restraints that keep my arms tied, "Carl... What have you done with him?! Carl! Carl!"

I start crying once more, and the door opens revealing Carl with a bandage tied around his mouth with handcuffs around his wrists.

Cato and Thresh are holding him in place, and his skin is grey. He is getting weaker and weaker by the second. He might die...

"No! No! I'll do whatever you want! Just don't hurt him!" I shout with my tears running down my face.

They take the pistol out of Carl's belt and hold to his head.

"Okay, but if you don't want to tell us or try to escape, both of you, a bullet will be put through his brain. Got it?" says Cato.

"Okay... But let him go first."

"Alright, but we're walking him out first."

Cato and Thresh walk him out. Finnick and I are alone.

"Okay, tell me what I need to know." he kneels down to my level.

I open my mouth to start speaking, but I hear a thump.

That's what a body sounds like when it hits the ground.

What is happening to Carl?
