Nicole looks at me like she just killed her best friend... which I hope she doesn't do.

"Jordyn," Nicole asks accusingly, "what have I done?"

I ask, "Do you need to go talk to him?"

"He probably wants nothing to do with me now. What's the use?"

"He might want, or need, to talk to you. He need to go to him," says Foxface.

"Yeah," replies Chan, "you need to go talk to him. He needs it right now. Go."

"Thanks guys for being there."

"Welcome," we all say.

She runs upstairs and runs in the guest room that we were in earlier and shuts the door.

"Alright, now that it's settled," says Chan, "anybody want some pudding?"

"Yes!" we all shout.

He comes back with three pudding cups and white plastic spoons. We sit there and eat pudding on the couch and watch Family Guy, but I can't help that every once in awhile I want to snuggle close to Chan. Reminds me of Carl too much. He looks at me funny, but he just pats my head and puts his arm around me like he's my big brother.

It makes me think of Logan, and can't help but whisper, "Help."

He whispers in my ear, "It's alright. I will take care of you until my little brother comes back. Okay?"

"Okay."

He now seems like the actual big brother that I've wanted whenever Logan would never be there for me, and it makes me feel... safe.

We sit there and watch that until we hear a crash from upstairs. Chan and I run upstairs and find that Nicole threw a chair at Daryl, but he isn't hurt. It didn't even hit him probably.

"What in the world are you doing?!" I ask, "You could've broke something important!"

"Psh. Whatever. Chan, did I break anything important?" she asks like a kindergarten teacher asking a five-year-old something.

"No, just a chair. I can replace it."

She glares at me like 'I told you so.'

I shrug and ask, "Daryl, are you hurt?"

"No, but she barely missed me. I had to duck."

I see where he's laying on the ground under the window and go over to check the window. It has a crack, but a small one.

"Chan..." I say a little terrified because if he's anything like his brother, he'll at least say something to her.

"It's okay. It happens all the time. I got a guy next door that can fix it."

"Okay. Well, at least iit's not a big deal then."

We all nod and go back downstairs and watch Family Guy until Marvel and Foxface decide they want to leave to watch up in things. We all nod and watch them as they walk out. My legs replace their spot on the couch, and I place my head on Chan's knees and fall asleep, but the last thing I remember is Chan and Nicole lacing their fingers together and her placing her head on his shoulder.

I am woke up by Chan wanting to get up. I check Carl's phone, and it is 10:00 p.m. He gets up and walks upstairs, and comes back later with Michael Jordan shorts and no shirt. I snuggle up in the corner and lay my head in the arm. They are still watching Family Guy. He must have the entire series recorded on the DVR.
