*Ashley*

I paced the room back and forth while slightly growling.

"Gone? What do you mean they're gone!?" I yelled at the rogue. He gave me a stank look and rolled his eyes.

"I mean gone, poof, they went bye-bye." he said while waving his fingers. As you can see, I'm very pissed at this rogue. He couldn't even do one simple assignment!

"How could you let them escape?" I asked.

"Who's escaped?" We turned around and saw mom standing in the door way. She was holding a beaten up Ashton and she looked pissed. The rogue bowed and moved out her way.

"Luna, Ivy and the beta has escaped." he said. Mom growled and threw Ashton in the room.

"You helped them didn't you!?" she yelled.

"Go to hell." Ashton muttered. Mom slapped him causing me to flinch.

"Answer me." mom said through clenched teeth. Ashton coughed up some blood and smirked.

"Snitches get stitches." Ashton said. Mom gave him the poker face and snapped her fingers. The rogue grabbed Ashton and we walked downstairs. It was a combination of sweat, ass, piss, and must. Ew...

We walked to a certain door and when mom opened it, a bruised and bloody Colten aka dad was laying in the middle of the floor.

"Who helped Ashton with this plan?" mom asked. Dad turned over and pointed his middle finger.

Mom was growing agitated from that so she kicked him. Dad yelled and sucked his breath in sharply.

"Answer my question." mom sneered. Dad refused to answer her and that pissed mom off even more.

"Bring Ashton to me." she said. The rogue threw Ashton at her foot and she smirked.

"Maybe this will give you a little motivation." she said. She took out a silver knife and held it to Ashton's heart. Silver is very deadly to us werewolves, and if it gets into our system -especially our heart- it can kill us. Dad looked frightened and he started shaking his head widely.

"I don't know who helped them! I swear! Now let Ashton go!" dad yelled.

"Sorry. That wasn't the answer I was looking for." mom said. Before mom had the chance to put it in his heart, Ashton broke free and ran out the cell in wolf form.

"After him!" mom yelled. I shifted and ran after him. I growled and bared my canines.

You idiot! Why didn't you join us! I yelled through the mind link.

I told you I'm not helping you! Y'all can kiss my ass Ashton mind linked back as he ran faster. We were nearing the pack border and I tried to grab him, but Ashton is too fast for me. He crossed the border shutting off all connections he had with this pack. I stopped at the border line and growled in annoyance. This is not a good day.

I shifted and ran back to the house only to be slapped in the face.

"You didn't catch him." mom said dangerously low.

"I'm sorry mom! I tried to but-"

"But nothing! You're weak and a pathetic excuse for a daughter." mom said with exactly no emotion in her eyes. I felt my entire world break after that. How can she say this about me? I'm her daughter!

"I-I'm sorry mom. I promise I won't disappoint you again." I said while slightly bowing.

"You better not." mom said as she walked out. Did I make the right choice?
