-Uriel-
I'm so sick and tired of hanging from this wall! This might sound gay but where is my knight and shining armor? This is torture! Worst part is I'm not sure where Ivy's dad is. He's somewhere in this cell but I don't know where. Maybe I should sing a song! That would make the time past by. But what song will I sing?
A potato flew around my room before you came-
"Uriel!" Ivy yelled/whispered. I looked up and smiled. I hope she didn't hear me singing.
"Ivy! How did you get here and what happened to your eyes?" I asked. She ran over to me started breaking my chains.
"I ran with Ashton and Donald. I finally transformed into a vampire." she said. I was immensely proud of Ivy that she finally shifted, even if it was into a vampire.
"I've missed you so much." I said.
"I've missed you too." she replied. We heard clapping and saw Marissa smirking.
"How sweet. You two are like Romeo and Juliet." Marissa snarled. I stood up and put Ivy safely behind my back. She is not touching my mate and I will hurt her if she tries. I don't know if I can fight off a hybrid
-I found out by eavesdropping-
but I'll try. I was too busy thinking about how I could fight off Marissa that I didn't see her kick Ivy through the cell! How in the hell did I zone out like that? I ran outside and tried to shift, but nothing happened. The serum is still in my system. Ivy and Marissa were fighting but a couple of rogues were heading their way. I growled and started fighting the rogues with objects around me. Somehow, I started getting jump, and the wolves that were fighting with me, left. A rogue was going to snap my neck when a pure white wolf grabbed him. Is this Ivy? She told me she transformed into a vampire. Wait. I don't have time to think about this right now! As I'm fighting the rogues, I see white fall down. I growl at the rogue holding a bloody knife. Other wolves attack the rogue which is a good thing. It gives me time to focus on Ivy. I pick up the whimpering wolf. She's light, kinda like a feather.
"Stay with me Ivy! I'm almost to John!" I yell. She makes a whimpering sigh even though her eyes are closed. Shit! I push myself faster despite the pain in my chest. Where the hell is John!?
"Alpha!" someone yell. I see a pack member point to John and I run in that direction.
"John!" I yell. John looks my way with a look of pain.
"Give me Ivy." he says. I passed the wolf over to him, praying that he can fix this. He touched Ivy's head and then moves to the wound.
"Alpha, it's healing." John said in astonishment.
"Healing, how?" I asked while looking at the wound. Sure enough, the hole in her side was closing.
"How is this happening? You and I both know silver wounds don't close that fast." I said.
"It's because she's half vampire. The silver in her system isn't killing her, it's strengthening her. She's absorbing the silver." John said.
"It's hurting her though." I say.
"Yes well, as time moves on, she won't be effected as much. Matter of fact, she'll need it once she feels as though her powers are draining. Either that or blood." John says.
"Thank god she isn't dying. I'll take her to her old room and wait for her to wake up. Thank you John."
I pick Ivy up and carry her to the room. I find her room and lay her gently on the bed. She stirred a little and I rubbed her soft fur. This seemed to calm her down.
"I'm so glad you're ok Ivy. I know this might be soon but I love you." I said. I go downstairs to prepare food for her. Uriah runs into the kitchen and I give her a stern look.
"What are you doing here?" I ask. Uriah smiled sheepishly and I realize that that's the same sheepish smile I had when I was younger.
"I'm sorry bro, but I had to help. I didn't want to disobey Ivy but I knew she might've needed my help. Marissa got away and the rogues are gone." she said. Another thing I realized: Uriah doesn't talk like a normal seven year old. She's mature for her age.
"Do you see mom?" I ask.
"No. I know she's around though. Is Ivy ok?" Uriah asks.
"She's fine. Go upstairs and stay with her until she wakes up." I said. Uriah goes upstairs without another word. I can't believe Marissa got away! She's never going to stop until she gets Ivy. I hear a creak, and when I turn around, Ashley is standing there. I growl and prepare to attack.
"What the hell do you want?" I ask.
"I don't want to fight anymore Uriel, I'm on your side." she says.
"How can I trust you?" I ask.
"Because I told her the real story." Ashton said while coming up from behind her. Donald follows suit carrying a very bruised Colten.
"What story?"
"Marissa is not Ivy's mom, and Colten is not Ashley and I's dad. Marissa is a hybrid married to a vampire named Jacobi. That's where she's going Uriel. She's going to his coven." Ashton said.
"I don't suppose any of you know where it is do you?" I asked while rubbing my head. No one said anything.
"Of course you don't. Donald, I need thirty wolves from each pack to stand around the border. No one is to be outside after 8:00 pm." I said.
"Yes alpha." Donald said.
"What can I do Uriel?" Ashton asked.
"Stay here with Uriah and Ivy. You're their support." I said. The serum must be wearing off, because I don't feel any pain. Its either that or I'm too hyped up on adrenaline. I went to my study and paced the room. Vampires! Out of all the other mythical creatures, it had to be vampires. Why couldn't it be fairies? I hear they get hostile when threatened. How are we supposed to take down a coven of vampires without getting seriously injured. I wish my dad was still here. He would know what to do in a situation like this, but he's not, and it's now my responsibility to lead this pack...
