After I escaped from the devil's daughter, I shifted and staggered into the woods. Damn I'm in pain. The needle didn't get into my system, but it touched my skin making it burn. I sat down by a tree and decided to rest. I didn't get a chance to rest for long because I heard something. It sounded like a wolf growling but I couldn't be so sure. The wolf stepped out and started growling. I jumped up and tried to calm the wolf down.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything." I said. I thought it was a rogue until the wolf growled again. Did I cross into another pack territory? How the hell did that happen? I shifted and ran away from the wolf. It howled letting other wolves know that a rogue crossed into their territory. Except, I'm not a rogue. They should've recognized me because other packs have seen me and Ivy. Maybe this is a newbie. I continued to run until another wolf jumped in front of me. Shit! After 20 minutes of me being surrounded, I heard walking. I looked up only to see Uriel and Ivy?

"Shift!" Uriel commanded. I know damn well my beta did not just command me! I growled and stepped to him.

"An alpha." Uriel muttered. Damn right I'm an alpha! You should be bowing right now people!

"Or someone with alpha blood." Ivy said as she walked to me. Ivy knew me better than anyone, so of course she recognized me.

"Ashton, can you shift please?" she asked. I shifted and hugged her, not caring if I was naked. We heard a growl and Uriel pulled her back.

"Mine." he growled out. Pause. They're mates?

"Yours? Oh hell no!" I shifted and ran to him. We started fighting and biting each other.

I heard Ivy yell but I don't know what she's saying. That's when the ground started shaking and splitting apart. The warrior wolves ran and Uriel threw Ivy on my back. Some mate you are!

We ran all the way back to a pack clearing. Uriel shifted and started giving out orders. Is he an alpha?

Ivy hopped off my back and I shifted. The crack that was forming was headed straight for her.

"Ivy move!" I yelled. She didn't. Instead, she stomped her foot again and the shaking stopped. The crack stopped forming in the ground and all eyes were on Ivy. How the hell did she do that? I backed away from the crowd and ran right into someone.

"Follow me." he said.

"Um no. Stranger danger mofo." I said.

"I know what's wrong with her. I can help." he said.

"Oh yeah? What's wrong with her Mr. know it all?" I asked with sarcasm in my voice.

"Your sister is transforming." he said.

"Into?" I pushed. What the hell can my sister possibly be becoming.

"A vampire."
