*Ivy*
Pain. All I'm feeling right now is god damn pain! Excuse my French but this shit really hurts! What does this mean? I know I'm not shifting because I don't feel bones popping out of place. I can hear voices around me but I don't understand what they're saying. The voices stop, and I feel someone stroking my hair.
"It'll be ok Ivy. Your shift is coming soon." Lucinda said.
"It...hurts..." I wheezed out. Another pain hits me. This time, it's near my ribs. I cry out in pain and start squirming.
"Don't squirm. It'll make the pain worse. Your shift is going to be even more painful because not only are you shifting into a werewolf, but you're shifting into a vampire as well. I'm going to make you a remedy that will ease the pain temporally." Lucinda said. She got up and walked out the door. After she left, Ashton walked in.
"Hey. Where's Uriah?" I asked while trying to sit up. Ashton gently pushed me back down and sat on the edge of the bed.
"She's downstairs bugging Donald to death. I'm more concerned about you right now. Are you feeling any better?" Ashton asked.
"No. It feels like my period times 1000." I said. Ashton made an uncomfortable face and I smirked.
"So uh this transformation thing. How long until it actually happens?" he asked.
"I don't know. Lucinda said soon but she never said how soon." I said.
"You're going to be so powerful Ivy. I've never met a hybrid before, but I've heard stories. They're strong and brave. I hear they're fearless and cunning." Ashton said. I shook my head.
"I'm nothing like that Ashton. I'm shy and weak. I'm nothing but a runt. I don't know what the moon goddess was thinking when she made me." I said.
"Stop talking like that Ivy. You're are strong. The moon goddess picked you to be a hybrid for a reason." Ashton said. Lucinda walked in holding a cup.
"Here you go Ivy. I must warn you, the herb is-" I cut her off by spitting whatever the hell it is in Ashton's face.
"Nasty." Lucinda finished with a small smile. Ashton gave me a poker face and I laughed.
"A warning would've been great Lucinda." Ashton said.
"I tried too, but Ivy drunk it before I could." Lucinda said. Ashton walked out mumbling swear words.
"Sorry!" I yelled. Lucinda laughed and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Try it again. This time, pinch your nose." she warned. I pinched my nose and the herb actually tasted better this time.
"Better?" Lucinda asked.
"Much. Lucinda, may I ask you a question?" I asked. Ever since we got here, I've been feeling like I'm close to Lucinda in more ways than one.
"Sure." she said.
"Am I close to you in some way? I feel like I am." I said. Lucinda hesitated and nodded.
"You are." she said. Lucinda pulled out a picture of her holding a baby. Next to Lucinda was dad. Everything was starting to make sense.
"You're my mother." I said. Lucinda nodded and I scoffed.
"She's been lying to me all these years. No wonder I don't look like them! That's also the reason why they aren't transforming!" I yelled. I turned to Lucinda who had a guilty look on her face.
"Why didn't you tell me? Why did you leave me?" I asked. I knew I had tears in my eyes because my lip was trembling.
"I think it would be better if you saw it yourself." she said. Before I could register what she was saying, she touched my forehead. I felt dizzy and I fell to the bed.

I groaned and touched my forehead. I looked around and only to see that I was back at Dark Moon.
"How did I get here?" I asked myself. I heard talking and suddenly pack members walked past me. One was Isaac and the other was Trey. They were our warrior wolves and they were also 26 years old, but right now, they look 10. I wonder if they can see me.
"Did you hear about Lucinda? They say she's dying." Trey said.
"Dying?" I whispered. Lucinda was dying?
"Could it be because of the baby?" Isaac asked. Damn, I'm not even born yet and I'm already the cause of something.
"I doubt it. Lucinda was starting to look sick way before she got preggo." Trey said. They walked to the general pack house and I walked towards mine. When I got inside -the door was already opened- I saw dad sitting on the sofa cradling Lucinda.
"Colten, the doctor said I should be ready to deliver by the end of this week." Lucinda said. Dad smiled and rubbed her stomach. Trey was right. Lucinda looked super pale and bony. She did look like she was dying.
"Do you know what you want to name her?" he asked.
"Ivy. It'll fit her." she said. I smiled and walked towards Lucinda. I reached my hand out to touch her stomach when she doubled over in pain. Did I do that? O________O
"What's wrong?" Dad asked while standing up.
"It's nothing Colten. She's probably kicking." she said. Ain't no way in hell I did that!

Lucinda walked upstairs and I followed her. She went into what looks like my room, except this room is pink... I hate pink. She sat in a chair and started yelling.
"Mamma, vieni a me! Ho bisogno del vostro aiuto! Mi fa male!" Lucinda cried out. How am I hurting her? Lucy appeared in her young form and touched Lucinda's stomach.
"You're not strong enough to give birth to her. The venom is slowly leaving your system." Lucy said.
"What? How can this be? I'm a hybrid just like you." Lucinda said.
"Yes, but you're carrying another hybrid. She's using the venom in your system to keep herself alive." Lucy said. I gasped hoping no one heard me. I'm killing her?
"It didn't happen with you though. You were still alive after you gave birth to me." Lucinda said.
"It has happened before. When my mother was pregnant with me, I was slowly killing her as well. She died giving birth to me and she told me I was going to be very powerful. I think this child, will be even more powerful." Lucy said.
"Isn't there another way? Am I going to die?" Lucinda asked with tears in her eyes.
"There might be. On the day you give birth, you will die, but I will use some of Ivy's venom to revive you. Then, you must leave. Do not make any contact with this pack." Lucy said.
"What about Colten?" Lucinda asked.
"He can't know. I'm sorry." Lucy said as she vanished. Lucinda started crying and rocking back and forth.
"Sarete piccolo al sicuro. Prometto."
Everything started moving faster and before I knew it, I was back in Lucinda's guest room. Lucinda was sitting there reading a book.
"M-mom?" I asked. Lucinda looked up with a smile on her face.
"It feels so good to hear you say that." she said. I ran to give her a tight hug, which she returned by the way. ^____^
"I'm so happy I get to meet my real mom." I said.
"I'm glad I got to meet my daughter again. It's been to long." she said.
"We have to catch up." I said happily.
"Agreed."
