-Uriel-
"No way! I'm not letting you leave to go hunt your delusional stalker mom!" I yelled at Ivy.
"Uriel, killing her is the only way I can give you the antidote. Otherwise, you'll be paralyzed forever!" Ivy yelled back.
"I don't care! If you go, I go too!"
"Uriel you know I can't let you do that! You'll be killed!"
"Then my answer is no! If I can't go to protect you, then no!" I yelled. Ivy huffed and stomped out the kitchen. I ran a hand through my hair. Donald walked in laughing.
"She's a stubborn one."
"Tell me about it. Who knew someone so small, had that much stubbornness in her." I said.
"Yeah but that's what you love about her. What was the fight about anyway?" He asked. I gave him a look making him throw up his hands defensively.
"If you must know, she has to kill Marissa for the antidote."
"Well what's wrong with that? That's what our goal was anyways right?"
"Yeah but I don't want her to leave the territory. I can't protect her if she's out of my sight."
I walked to the fridge, grabbed a water, then tossed Donald one which he easily caught.
"So go with her." Donald said.
"I told her I would, but she doesn't want me to go. She thinks I'll get hurt." I snorted as I said this.
"Well you can't shift alpha. The most you can do is stand guard." Donald said. "Ivy has a right to be over protective."
"Right?!" I yelled angrily.
"Well not right per se, but more or less, she's obliged to be worried for her mate. It means she cares." Donald said. So maybe I was overreacting... I sighed knowing I would have to let her go.
"Can you get Ivy please?"
Donald left, a few second later, he came back with a still pissed Ivy.
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry Ivy. I know you are looking out for me but I just can't let you leave without me. I'm going but I won't fight. I'll stand guard if it makes you happy." I said. Ivy smiled, making me smile too. Man I'm whipped.
"Thank you for understanding. When do you want to attack?"
"Tonight. The sooner the better. I want this over." I said.
"I was hoping you would say that." Ivy said.
"Great minds think a like." I smirked.
"Who will we take?" Donald asked.
"You, Ivy, me and Ashton." I replied.
"I wanna go too!" Ashley and Uriah whined.
"Uriah, you're too young. Ashley...we might need you actually." I said
"Of course you need me. I know where the castle is." Ashley said.
"How you know?" Ashton asked.
"I planned the attack too. She told me where to go in case something happened and she wasn't there." How caring...
"Who will watch Uriah?" Ivy asked.
"I can do it."
We turned around and saw mom standing in the doorway.
"Mom!" I yelled out. I ran to hug her just like I did when I was 5. Call me childish, but I haven't seen my mom in a while.
"Uriel, how old are you again?" Ashton asked. I flipped him the bird (A/N middle finger people!) earning a slap from mom.
"Mommy!" Uriah yelled.
"Aww!" Everyone besides me said. Really?
"Like I was saying, I'll watch her."
"But mom I want to go!" Uriah whined.
"You can't. You're too young and I don't want something to happen to you." mom said firmly.
"But-"
"How about this Uriah, if you behave and stay here today, I'll take you on your first patrol around the territory." Ashton suggested. Before me or mom could protest, Uriah squealed with happiness.
"Really?! Ok, I'll stay!" Uriah yelled. I shot Ashton a death glare. If we get home alive, I'm killing him.
