"Wake up Ivy!"
I jump up with a shriek. Uriah giggled.
"What happened?" I ask alarmed.
"Nothing. Today's your ceremony day. We have to get ready."
"It's too early!" I whine.
"Ivy... it's 3:00 pm."
"WHAT?!" I yell. How could I have stayed asleep that long?Then again, I didn't go to sleep until 4 am.
"You sleep a lot. Now, Ashley has instructed me to make sure you take a shower, so we can do your hair and makeup. We have a lot to do missy. So get up!" She demanded.
"Ok ok I'm going."
Uriah may be small, but she is not someone you should mess with when she gives instructions. She's another Uriel.
I run to the shower, making sure I scrub myself super clean. Today was ceremony day, and I was excited to say the least. I can't shake yesterday's feeling though. I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I feel like something bad is going to happen today.
After my shower, I throw on a bathrobe. Denise was waiting for me when I got in my room.
"Hello Ivy. I've been instructed by Ashley to do your hair. Have a seat." She points to a chair and I slowly sit down.
"Ashley must've pre thought this." I said.
"She mind linked Uriah this morning, who passed the message to me." Denise said.
"Cool."
*TIME LAPSE!!*
"Perfetto!" Denise yelled. I look at the bouncy curls in the mirror. Denise did an amazing job!
"Thank you so much Denise!" I yell as I hug her.
"You're not done yet."
I turn to see mom and Ashley standing in the doorway. They were holding make up kits.
"Sit back, relax, and let us do the work."
*ANOTHER TIME LAPSE!!*
"Finish!"
"OMG! I look amazing!" I yell. I hug everyone. I look gorgeous!
"Well c'mon! We have a ceremony to get to!" Uriah yells.
We run downstairs and go to the backyard. There are lights, and tables set up. It kinda looks like me and Uriel's first date.
"Hello my lovely mate." Uriel whispered in my ear.
"Uriel, did you do all this?"
"Me and some of the guys. It looks just like our first date."
I leaned up and kissed him softly.
"I love it." I say. The ceremony started and we danced crazily. Everyone complimented me and of course congratulated me on being Luna.
"All right everyone settle down! As you know, this ceremony is for my mate, your luna. I was so excited when I found out she was my mate. I was even happier when she allowed me to mark her."
Everyone ooh'd making me blush and Uriel laugh.
"She's an amazing person. And I hope you can accept her for who she is. Ivy, can you come here please?"
Crap. I didn't think he would call me so soon. As I slowly made my way to the mic, I wondered what I would say. Before a good speech could formulate in my head, I was at the mic. Dammit O.o
"Uh.... I'm excited to be your new luna. Most of you know that I am not just werewolf. For those who don't, I am a vampire also. But just because I'm a vampire, doesn't mean you should be scared of me or disrespect me. As you can see, I haven't killed anyone yet, and I don't plan on doing it. Thank you." I sighed in relief when people started clapping.
"I have one more thing to say. Ivy, I love you a lot. You bring out the best side of me. I couldn't bear it if something happened to you. Ivy Lee, will you-"
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP!"
Everyone turned to see a lady holding a small boy. Me and Uriel ran towards them. The small boy's throat was cut. He was breathing, but barely. Donald told everyone to return to their houses. Ashton and Ashley gathered their pack members and went home. Mom and dad ran inside.
"Calm down ma'am. Ivy, can you do anything?" Uriel asked.
"I think..."
I held my hand out over his throat and concentrated:

His throat healed, and his mother was so happy when she saw it.
"Thank you luna! I am forever in your debt." She said. I told her to take him to John just to make sure he was ok.
"That was amazing Ivy!" Uriel yelled.
"It shouldn't have to happen though. Uriel, something tells me that Jacobi did this." I said.
"Ivy, I know what you're thinking. My answer is no! I will not allow you to go to him." Uriel said.
"You don't have to. He's here."
