"Ashley, are you sure this looks good on me?" Ivy asked. She was nervous, I could tell. I don't blame her either. It's her first date with someone super cute!
Ivy called me a few minutes ago, asking if I can help her out with an outfit for her date. I agreed because I want to make it up to her. I've put her through a lot of shit over the years, I owed her this.
"You look beautiful Ivy. Stop tripping." I said. Ivy looked just like dad, but she had fair, blonde hair like her real mom. It was one of the many things I envied about her. While we all had brown hair, she stood out with her blonde hair.
"I hope this night goes well. We needed this Ashley; big time." She said.
"I know. Believe me... I know." I said. Once I was done, I told Ivy to go look at herself in the mirror. She gaped at her appearance.
"This is amazing Ashley! I don't look like myself at all. I look like..."
"Grandma Lucy." I finished. Ivy gave me a small smile and giggled.
"Thank you Ashley. Wish me luck!" She yelled out.
"Wait for me! We have to interrogate Uriel right quick." I said. We both walked downstairs where Ashton, dad and mom were giving Uriel the 'look'. It's a glare we used on Ivy sometimes.
"Who your momma is?"
"What's your social security number?"
"You got any kids?"
"If you hurt my daughter, I will feed your testicles to the rogues!"
Wait what? That last one caught me off guard. We all stared at mom who had this death glare on her face.
"Mom... he won't hurt me. Calm down." Ivy said.
"Uh... I think it's time for you guys to go." Ashton said.
"Yeah. Be home by 11. If you come in any later than that-"
"Your balls will be gone!" Mom yelled again.
"No! We're not taking your uh round things. Just go." I said uncomfortably. They eventually left, which made me sigh in relief.
"I think you scared Ivy's first boyfriend mom." I said. I know she isn't my real mom, but she's been fulfilling her motherly duties, so I consider her mom.
"I don't care to be honest." mom said while walking away.
"Feisty ass." dad said. We all know he found that attractive though.
