Like a little lullaby,
A humming harmony outside,
The smooth gradient of the sky.
The moon glimmers bright overhead
Amidst the sprinkling of stars. But just like that,
The clouds clasp
Their hands around the silence,
And the wind roars it's claim. The thunder rolls in,
Its drums a crescendo to the ears,
The rain pounds its rhythm.
And lightning flashes across the sky.
Connecting land
And air.Like a paintbrush streaking
Down a canvas.
The turbulent hand slashing
Colours down the sky.
Author's note: Hey guys, I was sitting by the window tonight and I was inspired by the beauty I could see around me. What do you think about the sky?
