The making of a war Part 24

"What's happening?" Melody asked panicked looking around at all the faces in the room. Matthias stood holding Melina close to him as she weeps quietly into his chest. Everyone looked at each other to give an answer. Saul took a deep breath and took the plunge, "with your burst of new power that has been unlocked what has been a myth to our enemy is now confirmed a reality."

"Orrin knows that you exist and the threat just got real," Lucy intervened, "this is no longer practice little girl... this is it." 

"Does he know where I am? Is he coming here?" Melody asked heart racing. For the first time she finally feels the pressure of her reality and scared from all that she knows of her enemy that she gained by just existing.

"No, he doesn't know where you are as there is a cloaking spell casted upon you and this planet. This is why this planet was chosen by Melina," Lucy continued, "He is not allowed to come through here."

Removing herself from Matthias' embrace who looks worried but still silent Melina stepped forward, "he cannot penetrate this atmosphere because this planet has its own protection against predators like Orrin. This is the planet that holds the most refugees against the human population's knowledge. Human's are their own enemy in a sense this is why they must not have knowledge of this seeing that they can be easily used to welcome someone like Orrin in their midst for thirst of power."

"Realistically we are outnumbered because of Orrin's huge army and allies. We must get allies of our own Matthias," Saul looked at Melody, "there are other angels that would be happy to provide some assistance. They will fight with us."

"Saul, thank you. I will do anything to protect my family therefore we accept," Matthias agreed sighing he continued, "we need all the help that we can get."

Avis steps up looking at his fated as he mentioned, "we will fight by the king of Methuselah and his fated. Her war is also part of ours and so I will visit my planet and also bring an army to support and join the fight."

"I have also asked for assistance from our home planet or what has been left of it. There are only five that has stood up to take the challenge," Melina spoke quietly.

Aiden looked at the figures in his head quickly accessing and realized that their numbers were still depressing to the army that Orrin held, "this is just not enough."

"Now, now, now, everyone calm down. I also have some favors to collect from many and I will also have my realm help with this. I have an army of my own. Combined with my army and all the help that we are acquiring I think that we can make a dent into his army before he even knows it," Lucy smirked with confidence.

"Why are we even trusting this demon?" Tabitha stood up looking at Lucy with hate in her eyes seeing her for what she really is.

"As much as you do not trust me little witch, you are right not to. I have my own personal gain in this little war," she laughed, "I will be lending a hidden army of 6000 personally led by me. They are only there to handle the army that he has put together while you all work on him."

"Plan sounds fool proof to me once we get the help that we need," Matthew answered holding his fated from behind. "Rosa and I have some allies as well seeing that we have been living among the humans for a long time including the refugees he have gained a lot of powerful friends. We will go at once to gather allies." 

"Demon! If you cross us, the mercy my father has shown you by allowing you to live I will not be so accommodating," Saul warned Lucy staring at her with judgement in his expression.

"As I said, I also have interest in bringing down Orrin in which I would not like to discuss," she replied with a look of hurt crossing her expression quickly. Melody caught the look before she masked it with her cocky grin, "with the plans we've got there is no way he is going to escape this."
