Fight For Freedom Chapter 27

Magrathea was not a place in which Matthew was very welcome after ditching the kings daughter. Some centuries ago the princess's fated died and Matthew was blamed for the death of the future prince. Matthias knew that his brother was no killer, maybe at that time he was a womanizer at best and had strong suspicions that Matthew slept with the princess and she in fact got rid of her fated. Matthew always got into a lot of trouble in the old days unlike him, as the older brother he had to be more responsible especially because he always had to get Matthew out of trouble. He was happy that his brother finally settled down because there was only so much that he could do. What baffled him is how could Matthew sleep with a sea creature if he did because this was a sea world.

"Matthew, I am going alone end of discussion," Matthias looked at his brother with authority that made anyone back down.

"I will never allow it and that is final! I am in this with you no matter where we go and you know that they are hostile to not only me but my family. If you are going then so am I," he looked at Matthias with challenge in his eyes. Matthias knew that there was no way that Matthew was going to stay behind so he just nodded an agreement but still felt by carrying Matthew was a mistake.

Upon entering the atmosphere six ships of the planet's law enforcement met with them asking for identification which was given and they were escorted into the sea planet. Keeping the ship afloat they left on small pod crafts to great with the King. Melina had already communicated with him informing him that she has already spoken to the king and he has been expecting them. Shaking his head by her confirmation he smiled to himself wondering how Melina got everyone to love her. She was so much that he ever deserved.

Matthew felt a little nervous facing with this king after he made a narrow escape, running from this very planet that they wanted to marry him to their princess. Yes her fated died which he had nothing to do with even in the 3rd degree as they trialed him guilty for but he wanted to find his fated and would settle for nothing less. They entered the water and with every beat of his heart he felt like bailing but he had to stand with his brother because if something happened and he did not help he could never face his family again. Why did Matthias want this kings' help was beyond him.

They landed safely in front of the palace along with soldiers accompanying them. Upon getting out of the pods they both put on their air masks and settled their balance to walk under the water like the other beings on this planet. When settled they were ushered into a waiting room to speak with the king of Margarethe. The room  was big inside and happily they could remove their air masks as the species on this planet did not need to always be in water it was just a preference but they could also breath air like humans as well. The walls were made of diamonds and rubies even the stair cases looked like ice but they really were diamonds. They planet was filled of diamonds and rubies as though it worth nothing like sand on earth. Everything sparkled and there were random colored shells in every part of he design.

They weren't like mermaids but they did have enhanced swimming abilities and they could breath in water. They did not have a fish tale like in many books and movies which was something that everyone expected. After a agonizing amount of time passed the wide pearl doors opened and an attractive female emerged, "gentlemen, please follow me the king will see you now."

They both followed behind her into the large office fit for a king no pun intended. They both bowed in the Royal couple's presence, "your majesty," Matthias began but he held his hand up to interrupt Matthias.

"Matthias, I have no quarrel with you but how could you bring that along with you?" the king asked motioning Matthew, "how dear you step foot in my kingdom?"

"Your grace, we come here in peace to form an alliance with you and we will be leaving shortly after no matter your decision," he said looking down at the floor.
