Chapter 18

Rose

"I guess it's tonight huh?" Madison said breaking the silence

I nodded. "Tomorrow, back to America. As usual"

"Back to hell" Madi joked and I smiled.

"I'm sorry" I blurted

She looked at me, confused. "For what?"

"We couldn't find Taylor" I said

"Well, we did try." she answered me "I guess I'm pretty upset we didn't find her too. I'm sorry. For wasting your spring break"

I looked up to the stars "Nah. It's almost nothing to me now. Because, now, I'd like to thank you"

She looked at me. "What?"

"Thank you" I repeated "I never would've or even could experience anything like this with anyone else"

"Don't thank me" Madison said smiling "thank Taylor Swift. She gave me the courage to be the person I am now, Rose"

"I know, Madi. I know"

It was silent for a while.

"I think we should go back to the hotel" I said "Kirsten might be wondering why we took so long"

"I guess"

The walk was somehow silent.

Well, it was one in the morning, so the streets weren't that busy.

And it was awfully quiet.

Well, that was until....

"Shit! Rose!"

I turned to see, Madison-gone?

I turned around to see a man in black.

"Ohhh shoot."

Upon instinct, I kicked the guy.

But it didn't help.

He grabbed me by the arm as I kicked and punched.

It had no effect.

Another man appeared with something that looked like a can of... spray paint?

I couldn't be sure.

Then, everything turned black.
