Brian walked up to the front porch as John and I both put out our cigarettes. I smiled.
"Hey, Bri!" I said. He glared at John for a moment.
"I don't trust you with her," he said, walking right up to the door. He opened it and smiled at me softly. "Want to get back to what we were doing?"
"Yes!" I said, excited. "I'll see you around, John."
"Yeah, see you," he said, somewhat disheartened. I went to Brian's room and started undressing right as he followed me in.
"You're really fucking pretty," he told me.
"Am I?" I teased. He nodded. "Well, that's good to know."
"I love you."
"I love you, too, Brian."
"You're my best friend."
"I'm aware."
"Are we really going to do this?"
"I mean, I hope so. You got me all excited earlier."
"Heh, sorry. Shirt off?"
"And the pants."
"Right."
"...Hey, Bri?"
"Yeah, love?"
"I'm sorry I'm so dumb. I'm sorry it took me a million years to say I love you."
"That's alright, love. After all, if it weren't for you and a juice box, I wouldn't've ever met my fucking soulmate."
"Let's get busy, yeah?"
"Yeah!"
