Lori
"Knock, knock."
I looked up from my desk at work to see Blake walking towards me with flowers.
I smiled bashfully putting my pen down.
"Wow, aren't you sweet?" I said taking them from him and standing to give him a hug.
"Yeah, I saw these and thought of you. I hope I'm not imposing." He said timidly.
"Not at all, I was just going over some notes for my show today. Come in." I said ushering him inside and closing the door to my office.
"So how's your day going so far?" He asked.
I nodded, "It's going great so far. Yours?"
"Better now." He said licking his lips as he sized me up.
I giggled nervously. What the hell was I gonna do with this guy?
"We should do dinner tonight." He suggested.
"Uh," I said as my phone started to buzz, "let me grab this really quickly."
I went outside in the hallway leaving him inside my office to answer.
"Hey." I spoke.
"Hey, how are you?"
I smiled, "Still good, and yourself?"
He sighed, "I'm not doing so great."
"What's wrong?" I replied hearing the despair in his voice.
"I told Megan I was in love with you." Trey said.
I placed my hand on my chest actually shocked that he'd gone through with it.
"Lori?" He spoke again when I hadn't replied.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm just surprised that you said that. I mean, I knew you were planning on ending it, but to tell your wife that you love someone else is crazy." I finally said.
He sighed, "It's the truth."
"So, now what?"
"I was hoping for a favor."
"What's that?"
"Can Christian And I stay the night at your place? My assistant is getting me a place as we speak but I don't think it'll be ready until at least tomorrow evening." He said timidly.
"Of course you can." I said swiftly.
Trey was the one who'd had my house built and paid for it in full. All I did was made sure the taxes were paid every year. How could I deny him from his house technically?
"Cool." He said exhaling, "well I guess I can just go to the studio Downtown to kill some time until you get off."
"Christian is with you?"
