Lori
What a fucking day.
After my moment with Blake, I walked in the house to a screaming Christian throwing a huge temper tantrum in the middle of my living room floor.
"Christian, Stop it right now!" Trey scolded him picking him up before placing his feet on the ground.
"But I don't wanna go! I like it here, I don't wanna new house!" He cried as dinosaur tears fell from his little cute face.
"We can't live here, Christian. This isn't our house." Trey replied holding him by his shoulders.
"I don't wanna go!" He cried louder as he boo hooed.
I walked over and squatted down in front of his face.
"Hey, hey, hey, calm down." I said to him.
His loud cries instantly quieted down some.
"Now, would you like to stay here with me and TT Morgan?" I asked softly grabbing his hand.
He nodded as he sniffled.
"When did you get here? I ain't even see you come in." Trey said to me.
I winked at him and turned back to Christian.
"Well, you can stay here as long as you want." I soothed him.
"Daddy says we have to go to a new house." He said sadly looking back at Trey.
"Because we do." Trey said looking at me.
"Don't worry about Daddy. Let me handle him, okay?" I said to Christian before kissing his forehead, "now dry those tears and let's go get some cookies from the jar in the kitchen."
"Yay!" He squealed wiping his face before following me.
I sat him at the table in the kitchen and made him a small plate of chocolate chip cookies and poured him a glass of milk before going back in the living room to find Trey sitting on the couch watching CNN.
I sat next to him and put my hand on his knee.
"You know all of this is pretty hard on him." I spoke.
He nodded still staring at the TV.
"I wasn't trying to overstep, I just didn't want him to be upset." I explained.
"Lori, we can't stay here forever. At some point, I gotta get him set up in our new spot so he can get used to it." He said finally looking at me.
"Why don't you just stay here?" I asked in a small voice.
"Because this is your place. I'm sure you enjoy living alone, plus, your sister is already here with you. It's more to it than you think living in a house with a small child. He can be a handful and he's not your responsibility, he's mine. I don't want you to feel like you gotta..."
