Red.

That was all I could see!

Was I kidnapped? Again?

"We got her ma'am, don't worry." I heard a voice say before everything blackened.

I didn't know how long it took before I could regain my senses again. It started getting whiter and whiter.

What the hell was going on with me?!

Last thing I remembered was me and Tommy coming ba-
Wait! Where was Tommy?!

I tried to focus my vision, colours were coming back in a hazy blast. It was blurry but after blinking a few times, I started seeing things a little less hazy.

I was in a white room but my throbbing head was making it too much to identify where it was exactly.

I tried to get up but was met with a scream.

Who was screaming?

It took me a few moments to realise it was me! I was feeling excruciating pain all over my body.

What happened?!

"Elena honey, calm down," I heard my mom's voice. I opened my eyes a bit to see a figure I knew could only be my mom. I was safe!

"What... h-happened?" I managed to ask. My throat was burning as if someone poured acid in it.

"You don't remember?" She asked. I was about to say no but my throat protested sending waves of pain blocking me from speaking. My eyes teared a bit. "Just rest, for now, okay?"

"To..." I had to make sure he was okay.

"He's fine, don't worry." With that, I drifted peacefully to sleep again.

When I opened my eyes again, Tommy was lying right next to me. I was almost tempted to push him off the bed. If only my body didn't ache too much.

"I know that smirk," he said. How did he even know I was smirking?! "You broke your arm, idiot." Say what now? "So, yeah! You can't push me or anything aggressive you used to do." He shrugged sitting upright.

I tried responding but nothing came out but awkward sounds. "Yeah, you hurt too many things actually," he said sheepishly. "So, in order to compensate your silence, I'm going to talk for both of us." He gave me a full grin making me roll my eyes. As if he didn't talk enough already!

Wait! What about the coming concert?!

What day was it today?

"Also, about the coming concert, it's supposed to be in ten days so, Aurora postponed it a bit. Now you have twenty five days to get better." He was always good at reading my mind! "Are you now dying to know what happened?" I nodded eagerly... too eagerly to be honest earning another protest from my body. "Well, I'll tell you but first you have to take a shower. You smell awful!" He pinched his nose earning a glare from me.

Realization hit me.

How the hell was I supposed to do that?!

My eyes widened. "I know that look!" He chuckled. "There's a nurse here to help you." He shrugged. "I'll see you later!" He waved and got out.

Seconds later, a woman in her mid-thirties came in. I blushed deeply. I wasn't comfortable with any of this but I didn't protest.

Apparently, I had fractured my legs too; that was why I had cast on my legs and hand. And I also had too many cuts that needed medical attention.

Could life get any peachier?!

My nurse was friendly and efficient. She worked with concentration but also kept talking softly to me. She introduced herself and then kept talking about how she had a daughter that never seemed to listen to her. She had a smile on her face the whole time.
