Its only been 3 days since Toni's accident. She had been permitted to go back to school, but she wasn't excited about what would happen.

Toni went to school in the morning and when she got there Emily walked up to her. "I dont think we should so the fake dating thing anymore." Emily said; she looked kinda... Jumpy. "Okay, no problem." Toni smiled and started on walking to her class. She past Clarke in the hall and she smiled at Toni as if she had done something sneaky. Toni discarded her suspicion and went to class.

After school Toni had practice; which she had also been cleared for. So she was in the locker room getting ready when Clarke walked in- also getting ready. Toni pulled her shirt over her head and removed her pants, she pulled her short basketball shorts over her legs and then she pulled her jersey over her head "Number 23."
Clarke put on her cheer outfit and they both left the locker room.

Toni had to practice free throws cause she needed to get better. She shot one and- it went in. She shot another- it went in again. She was about to shoot another and then she caught a glimpse of Clarke and the ball bounced out of the net. "Aw man." Toni said with a sigh. She went on practicing free throws, JV ran laps because they still weren't fast enough. And The rest of Varsity were practicing their fade aways.
Meanwhile the cheerleaders were warming up for their routine.

After a couple minutes of warming up Clarke lead her cheer squad through a cheer routine until one of the girls on top of the pyramid fell all the way to the ground. Toni being the closest person to the girl helped the girl up. "Are you okay?" Toni wrapped her arm around the girl to help her stand "my leg" the girl groaned in pain. Clarke rushed over. "Here let me help you to the bleachers." Clarke wrapped her arm around the girl taking her from my grasp and basically carried her to the bleachers where Clarke gave her water and had the nurse check her leg. "its most likely just a sprain. But even then she wont be able to participate for 6 weeks." The nurse said as she wrapped the girls leg in a bandage that would make it feel a bit better until she got a cast. "Oh man. Where the f*ck am I gonna find a cheerleader to take her place in the finals next week?" Clarke said to herself. "Uh- Excuse me Clarke." Toni said quietly. "what do you want dork?" Clarke said rudely "I was gonna say I could take the girls place- but since you wanna be rude about it." Toni said as she crossed her arms over her chest. "No. You cant." Clarke said. "But she is probably the only girl in the whole school who has enough stamina to do our routine." A girl from the cheer team said. "If you think you can win without the last person be my guest." Toni said as she walked away. Clarke looked like she was in utter pain to say this "fine, your in- just don't f*ck it up." Toni stopped dead in her tracks. "I'll do my best not to f*ck it up Clarke." She rolled her eyes and sat in the bleachers. "What are you doing? You need to practice." Clarke said. "I already know your routine. Ive been watching it for about a month." Toni said. "Prove it." Clarke said sarcastically. "Okay." Toni got up and did the whole rountine almost single handedly. "Are you happy now?" Toni said as she walked to sit back down leaving all the other girls on the cheer squad in shock. The girls whispered among themselves "Did you know she could do that?" One girl asked another. "Whatever. You can sit down for now, It wasn't that good." Clarke turned around and began speaking to the cheer squad. Toni watched the rest of the cheer squad learn the routine and soon enough practice was over.

Toni went into the locker room and changed, one of the squad members brought her a cheer uniform. "Oh thanks." Toni said and she put it into her bag. "No problem" the girl said with a smile and rosey cheeks. Toni got dressed in a T shirt and some ripped jeans with some vans, as she was exiting the locker room another girl from the cheer squad walked up to her "You got some sick moves for a basketball player." She said. "I went to cheer camp wit- when I was 12" Toni had caught herself before said had accused herself of being friends with Clarke before. "Well good job out there!" She said with a smile. "Thanks, you too." Toni said and then. Continued out to the parking lot to her car where she put her bag in the back seat and then buckled in, and  she proceed home.
