The chilling adventures: of Toni and Clarke

Toni walked to 2nd block with her book and was preparing herself for what might happen if she saw Clarke again today. She went through the rest of her day dodging all the places she knew Clarke would be until finally the last bell rang and she was walking to her car in the parking lot. "Antoinette!" Someone could be heard calling Toni's name from across the parking lot. Toni stopped dead in her tracks and was frozen... Was it Clarke? She turned around slowly, it was Emily, Toni's friend whom she studied with every weekend. "oh, hey!" She smiled. "Are we still on this weekend?" She asked.
They were going to get dinner and study. Strictly not a date.
"Uh, yeah" Toni said with a smile. "Okay I'll see you then" she smiled. Toni saw Clarke walking to her own car and Emily saw too, just then Emily slammed Toni against her car and kissed her. Clarke whom was putting her key in her door to unlock it just as that happened dropped her key when she saw that and got flustered. Toni had wide eyes "Dude. What the f*ck" she said quietly trying not to let Clarke hear them. "You like her dont you?" As Emily said this Toni blushed red. "Kinda- maybe- okay yea but who told you?" Toni said getting flabbergasted at the fact that Clarke just watched that happen. "Lets make her jealous." She smiled and she moved Toni's hair behind her ear and kissed her again, at the sight of this Clarke got in her car and zoomed off down the street. Toni pulled away. "I dont think thats a good idea. If Clarke is still anything like she was in Middle school she is very aggressive, I wouldnt want you to get caught in the middle." Toni said trying to Convince Emily. "I'm okay with being in the middle. Just trying to help a friend. And I also hate Clarke because she made freshman year hell for me so, win win" Emily said with a giggle at the end. "Okay well I should get home." Toni said, softly pushing Emily off of her. "You do that." Emily said walking away. Toni's face was bright red. As she turned to get into her car she noticed a figure standing outside of the school watching her, she didnt think anything of it since most people stood outside of the school when they were waiting for a ride, and what just happened was pretty weird so, she would stare too. Toni drove home and went to sleep imediently, she was exhausted.

The middle of the night

Toni's eyes opened slowly, as her darkened room came into focus she saw a dark figure standing over her, once again she couldnt move- couldn't talk- couldnt scream. The creature made a screeching noise, Toni needed to find out what was happening but she was so scared she couldnt even think straight ((puns meh dude.)) She tried closing her eyes but it was as if her eyelids were clear, all she could do was watch the dark figure stare at her, until finally it jumped at her and she shot up from her bed sweating profusely and every thing was dark, but there was no figure, thank god there was no figure. Toni breathing heavily tried running over to the light switch, but she had tripped over a blanket that was tangled around her leg. She fell face first- butt in the air, she hit her head in the floor and began screaming as she sat up and held her head she pulled her hand away and a whole lot of blood was on her hand. This was gonna be a fun trip to the ER. Her mom rushed in the room turning on the light. "Oh my God! Toni what happened!?" She said as she pulled her phone out and dialed 9-1-1.

The next day

Toni was gonna be in the hospital till later that night for observation. Toni could hear muffled voices outside her door. Her mom was talking to the doctor. "Cases like these are ----- it could be a number of ------------- but we have her under observation in case she was ------ kill herself." The doctor said. Toni could connect the dots with the sentence and she knew that she was gonna be treated differently if people thought she was trying to kill herself. Her mom walked into the room "hi sweetie, the doctor wants me to ask if you-" Toni didnt let her mom say another word before clarifying "I didn't try to kill myself mom, and if you believe that your just as dense as that stupid a** doctor." Toni's mother paused. "--he wanted me to ask if you wanted some more juice. But its good know you werent trying to kill yourself." She set a cup of water on Toni's bed table and sat down in the chair next to her. "So tell me what did happen last night." Her mother said. "You remember last weekend when I had that weird sleep thing?" Toni asked. "Yea" her mom replied. "It happened again, I was terrified, so I ran to turn the light on and I tripped over my blanket, next thing I know theres blood everywhere and people think I tried to kill myself." Toni said seriously. "hmm, maybe its like sleep paralysis?" Her mother questioned. "Ill talk to the doctor about it if you want, maybe he can help some way" Her mother suggested. "Okay mom. I think that would be good." Toni said with a sigh of relief as she would soon have the answers she was looking for.
