The cheer competition was in 2 days. Which meant all the cheerleaders had to pile onto a bus and go all the way to San Francisco where the finales would be held. Our schools cheer team got to go to the country's cheer finals every 4 years. This year our whole team was counting on Clarke. So as you could imagine, she was stressed and aggressive. This was gonna be a long bus ride. Luckily out school sprung for a charter bus so we could all sit comfortably on our 10 hour bus ride there.
I'm skipping the bus ride cause that would be one big long boring paragraph. I'm guessing most of us all know what long school field trip rides are like. So you imagine what it was like.

Toni stepped off the bus and breathed in the fresh San Francisco air. She looked around, she saw a nice clearwater pool front on the side of the hotel and she saw the hotel it self, which was so tall she could barely see all of it, now all she had to do before the fun could start is find out who she was sharing a room with and then settle in, then it would be time to go out and explore. She walked over to the coach whom was listing off the girls names who would be sharing a room. "Jena, and Tryniti, room 502." She paused for a second. "Clarke, and Toni, room 503." She paused again but this time being interrupted. "Woah woah woah. Coach I cannot stay in a room with her." Clarke said. "To bad. There are not gonna be room switching." The coach said before continuing to list off names and room numbers. "This is gonna be one hell of a weekend." Toni thought to herself, as she made her way into the hotel, and up to her room. "Room 503." She said as she looked over and saw Clarke carrying her own bags to the room. "Toni opened the door of their room for Clarke. "I can do it myself dork" Clarke said. "Be my guest." Toni stepped into the room and shut the door behind her- Clarke on the other side. "2 can play that game." Clarke as she struggled to open the door. "Mhm" Toni said as she set her bag on a bed. "You do that, I'm gonna be exploring this beautiful city" Toni said as she walked past Clarke and out the room. "You cant leave without your room mate going with you so you have to wait for me dingus." Clarke said. "ill be in the lobby, better hurry up." Toni said as she walked down the hallway.

About 5 minutes later Clarke walked down to the lobby to find Toni, she spotted her by the entry way. "I hope you dont mind but I invited a feel of the girls. We are going to see a cliff view, feel free to tag along." Clarke said as she walked towards Toni. "I believe that makes the score me 1 you 0?" She whispered in Toni's ear as she passed her with a smile. Toni rolled her eyes and then followed Clarke.
They made it to the cliff after about 10 minutes since it wasn't that far from the hotel. Toni walked up to the edge of the cliff and looked around, the site was beautiful. And the sun was just in the right place to make the sky pink/orange and it was almost perfect. Toni took out her camera and went to take a picture, at this point the girls were near or close to her near the edge of the cliff. So Toni was trying to get a good shot without getting in anyone elses shot. So went to take a step forward- she stepped off the edge and her hand went back to catch herself but it was to late- but at the last second-- Clarke grabbed Toni's hand, and with a firm grasp she held onto Toni's hand. Toni looked up at Clarke and her eyes were pleading, "Please- dont let go." Toni said. "I wont." Clarke said calmly. "Get over here and help me pull her up you slow bags of rocks." Clarke demanded help from the rest of the team and 4 girls ran over to help.
About 3 minutes later Toni was Back on the cliff. "That was close." Clarke said sitting next to Toni. "You could've just dropped me." Toni said wit her knees in her arms, starring down at the ground. "Why would I do that?" Clarke said questioning Toni's judgement. "Because you hate me, you have since 7th grade." Toni said still starring blankly at the ground. Clarke shook her head and placed her palm on her forehead. "quite the exact oppisite Toni." Clarke said closing her eyes. Toni shook off the blank stare and looked at Clarke. "what?" Toni asked quickly. "I don't hate you. I never have." Clarke said still with her eyes closed. Toni starred at Clarke for a moment. "That doesnt make any sense." Toni said. "What was the last day you saw me in 7th grade?"Clarke asked. "The day you vomitted in the bathroom..." Toni said still confused. "But what else happened on that day" Clarke continued. "Uh- I dont know- wait... Blake Taylor?" Toni asked. "Mhm." Clarke said, again still with her eyes closed. "Well why would that mat-" Toni's eyes widened. "Oh my god." Toni said. "Mhm." Clarke replied calmly. "Im so sorry,- I didn't know- i just-" Toni said being cut off by Clarke. "its not your fault, I didnt tell you. If I did I can imagine it probably would have went down differently." Clarke said getting up. "Ill see you at the hotel Toni." Clarke said as she walked away. Toni sat there thinking for a while, she left about 20 minutes after the rest of the girls did.
