We all have secrets

I'm sat in the room MJ and I share, looking down at the old spare flip phone Castiel gave me in case. I desperately want to call aunt May, and I wonder for a second what would happen if I dialed her number. But unfortunately that ain't how the multiverse works.
I can't help but feel so lonely here.

I hear some chatter in another room, I figure they've come back so I walk out.
I walk in on what seems is a tense conversation between everyone.
"W-What're you guys taking about?" And just like that, they all whip they're heads to me.

Jack is the first to actually answer me, "Oh, just how we found the ghost and how it came up to MJ and asked for you by full name." He smiles.

Both Sam and Dean throw they're hands in the air.

"Excuse me?" I ask. What does that even mean?

"Peter," MJ starts "I... We think the ghost is here for you."

"...WHAT?" I yell. "No no no, you guys sure they didn't ask for somebody with the same name? I mean that kinda stuff happens everyday."

MJ steps up to me. She oh so awkwardly sits her hand on my shoulder for comfort, but then just as awkwardly pulls it away. "I don't think they want to hurt you. I looked into his eyes, he was scared. Not angry."

I look over to Sam and Dean for any sort of clarification.

"Look kid," Dean starts "you're gonna be fine. We deal with this kind of stuff all the time. Besides you'll be outta this world in no time."

I sigh. "Sure-ok I'm sure it'll be fine."

I look over to MJ who seems to have lost interest in the conversation, she's looking up at the ceiling, it sort of look like she's mumbling something.

"MJ?" I say gently.

She looks down at me startled, "huh-yeah yeah I'm all good just uh... stretching my neck." She looks somewhat flustered.

I look away and catch Jacks gaze, he looks concerned. Out of the corner of my eye I see MJ as she returns to look at the ceiling, this time I can just make out what she's mumbling... it looks likes she's counting.
I realise it's really none of my business, but I can't help but wonder. Perhaps it's a nervous thing?
Does that mean she's worried about me?
It's funny to think that MJ would actually be worried for me. I don't know why, but the way she carries herself makes her seem very chill, I can't imagine her getting stressed over anything.

I feel my stomach ache, reminding me once again of the terrible timing this thing decided to show up. I sit myself down at the map table, trying to act as normal as possible.

"Are you ok Peter?" Jack asks me, with such a soft tone.

"Yeah, yeah man I'm fine, there's nothing... nothing wrong." I try and give a casual smile.

"Well... I mean there is a ghost after you... that's something to not be ok about." Jack speaks, followed by everyone in the room groaning in disappointment.

"Jack!" Dean spits, shaking his head, "Peter you are going to be fine."

"Oh I know sir." Surprisingly, I'm not all too concerned about this ghost, more about MJ at this point.

I hear MJ take a deep breath, and come sit down next to me. She looks exhausted.

"Long day?" I say, jokingly,

"Yeah," she laughs, "you could say that... who would've known that webs are completely useless against ghosts!" We both scoff, letting go of some tension.

The room starts to empty a bit more. I see dean and Castiel walk off one direction, and Sam another. Jack actually comes and sits next to me at the table. He stares at me, to an uncomfortable degree.

"Is something the matter Jack?" MJ interrupts.

"Oh." Jack starts "No... not really... I'm just excited to have some people... closer to my age to hang out with. Say, what do people you're age do for fun?"

MJ and I share a look, like we both don't know what to say. So I start us off.

"Well I like buildings legos. That's something my friend Ned does with me."

He just nods at me, likes he's genuinely interested. "What about you, MJ?"

I turn (a little too enthusiastically) to MJ and wait for her answer.

"Well... I like to read... and um..." She waves her hands around, looking for the words, "just hang out." She nods awkwardly.

Jack nods again. "Awesome. Well I like to watch movies... but that's all I really get up to when I'm not helping Sam and Dean."

"Well..." I suggest, "maybe we should all... hang out tonight? Maybe we could go down town and buy a new movie and some snacks! What do you guys say?"

MJ and Jack look at each other, MJ shrugs her shoulders. "Yeah." They say in unison.

Whilst Jack and MJ are talking to Sam in the kitchen, asking for money and what not, I do as Sam says and go find Dean, to see if he needs anything from the store.
I walk down the hallway of rooms, I'm not too sure where they've gone, but I peak my head into each of the rooms.

"Hey Sir... Dean? You in here?-" I poke my head in what I'm pretty sure is Deans room, only to see sudden movement from Dean, as he takes a fast step backwards from Castiel. They both look flustered... did I... interrupt something?
"Oh sorry.. I didn't mean to- Uh- interrupt." I stutter.

"What?" Dean scoffs, "you weren't- we weren't doing anything to interrupt- it's fine. What did you want?" He says, suspiciously.

"Oh well we're headed to the store and I just wanted to know if you needed anything?..."

"Nope I'm good, what about you Cas?"

Castiel looks at Dean, then at me, then back at Dean. "No I am good thank you." He says in a monotone voice.

I nod and salut at them both, as I slowly step away from the door frame, trying to remove myself from the scenario as normal as possible.
