Chapter 19 - Grand Opening of TJ Cafe.
"But it was so weird, I've never felt that before." Luke rambled pacing around in Michael's room. Michael nodded listening, or rather pretending to listen, as he ate Fruitloops right out of the box.
"Yeah, I used to like Alex, but that was before I liked Aria. I have Aria now. Why was I jealous?" Luke rambled on.
Michael tried to answer him but was cut off by Luke continuing, "I mean, it's not like Alex and I could ever be together. That's why I moved on. She doesn't even open up to people and he just swoops in like a.. Like a..."
Michael looked at him weirdly, "..A swooper?"
"A SWOOPER. That's what that little shit is." Luke grumbled.
"Why do I feel like this? It's not like I like her anymore." Michael groaned as Luke sat on the bed,
"Listen, maybe you're upset about it because when you tried to be with Alex, it seemed impossible cause she built walls higher than the Eiffel. But he managed to just sleep with her within a couple of hours..? Maybe that pisses you off?" Michael suggested, he was pretty smart for a guy who was completely clueless about keeping a girlfriend.
"Still... Why am I feeling this?.." Luke mumbled, still so confused.
Michael shook his head, "Bro," He placed a hand on Luke's shoulder, "You need to get your shit together."
Luke looked back at him and nodded as an agreement.

"Mom, stop freaking out." Alex groaned, her head shaking.
Today, September 16th was the grand opening of the TJ cafe. And Susan and Nancy were beyond paranoid.
Susan and her husband decided it was best to talk it out with Andrew and ask him what were his future plans were and how he would handle it. But now, Andrew was the last thing on Susan's mind. Well, not the last thing but you get the point.
"But Alex, there's so much things to be done. And it's opening tonight. There paperwork and.. and.. inventory.. and what if people didn't see the flyers and no one comes? You did put up all the flyers right?" Susan rambled.
Alex rolled her eyes, "Yes I did, mom. Me and the girls went all around town shoving posters up on the walls and in people's faces." Susan gave her a glare.
Alex took Susan's bag and passed it to her, while gently pushing her mother out the front door, "Mom, breathe. And go. Nancy is waiting for you at the cafe."
Susan took a deep breath and exhaled, she looked at her daughter. Susan leaned in and kissed her cheek, "Take April to the park, okay? She has a play date with one of the other girls in her class."
Alex nodded as a promise and pushed her mother (of course, in the most gentle way possible) out of the house.
Susan started panicking again as she walked to her car.
Alex plopped onto her family couch and took the controller to play some fifa.
April sat down next to her and poked her arm, "I have to meet my friend at the park today, Ally."
Alex nodded, focusing on the game. "I know, April. I'll take you in a little while."
April nodded, she was feeling quite sleepy. She rested her head against Alex's arm.
"You excited?" Alex asked, her eyes not shifting from the screen.
April nodded again, her little brown eyes slowly closing. A few minutes later, she was out cold.
