It was after school and everyone was leaving when Hyunjin saw Seungmin walking by himself and decided to approach him
"Hi Seungmin, would you like to go get some food with me?" He asked as he caught up to him
"I'm not hungry"
"Oh, well can I walk you home?"
"Don't you have something better to do? Like, go on a date with one of those many people that like you?"Seungmin asked
"I never respond to any of those people and I would much rather hang out with you"
"Do you not realize how that is messed up?" Seungmin questioned, getting very annoyed while Hyunjin tilted his head in confusion
"If someone confesses to you you should at least give them a clear answer and reject them to their face... it would hurt a lot less" Seungmin explained and Hyunjin was surprised about how he had never thought about it like that before
"You're right...you seem to have personal experience with this topic. Can you tell me who you confessed to?"
"No, it's none of your business"
"I'll start telling people no. Almost all of them are girls anyway and I'm gay so that's an easy explanation"
"You never even open them so how would you know the gender of the person?"Seungmin asked
"Good point, I do keep all of the notes I have received though. I assume they all say the same things and I haven't read them but they are in a box underneath my bed"
When Hyunjin said this Seungmin's eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Hyunjin
"I should read through them and try to apologize to the people that I ignored" Hyunjin said waiting to see a reaction from Seungmin
"If they are a few years old the person probably got over it. Why do you keep them all if you never even read them?" Seungmin questioned but Hyunjin just shrugged as a response
"Maybe I will read them"
"No. You shouldn't. You obviously have no interest anyways"
"What if I suddenly do?"
Seungmin seemed to of gotten anxious by Hyunjin saying this
"I won't read them today though. I have too much homework but maybe I will be bored enough one-day" Hyunjin replied, taking notice that Seungmin let out a sigh of relief
"If you have so much homework why did you walk me home?"
"Because I wanted to"
"Whatever, see you tomorrow" Seungmin said as he walked away from Hyunjin who watched him until he closed the door because he was somehow already whipped of the younger
Hyunjin walked home than face planted on his bed
Why did the one person he actually likes have to hate him?
Instead of doing his homework, he decided to text Minho
