It was now the next day at lunch, Seungmin thought he was safe at first as he started walking to the garden with Minjee but Felix quickly came and started dragging him to the usual lunch table
"Sorry Minjee" Felix said to her as he walked off with Seungmin who just rolled his eyes
Minjee now didn't know what to do. She wasn't supposed to let Seungmin go to his lunch table but there wasn't really anything she could do about it
She knew for sure she could not go back to her lunch table so she went to the library and hoped that Jiah would later accept the excuse that she needed to study today
"Why must I sit with you guys every day?" Seungmin asked Jisung and Felix as they were bringing him to the lunch table
"You didn't sit with us yesterday already" Felix said as they all sat down
Seungmin looked uncomfortable and awkward for a minute because he was sitting right across from Hyunjin but he quickly got over it once he reminded himself of that plan of treating him as a normal friend again
"Hi Minnie" Hyunjin said to him happily now that Seungmin couldn't ignore him
"Hi" Seungmin's said kinda quietly
"Why were you ignoring me?" As Hyunjin asked him this question their conversation suddenly got Jeongin's attention as the youngest waited to hear how friends stupid excuse
"I have been busy with school and stuff"Seungmin nodded to himself thinking that the excuse was somewhat believable.... until Jeongin decided that he wasn't going to let it slide
"That's a lie, you've had barely any homework and I know you don't have a project right now" Jeongin said exposing his best friend to his crush that he hasn't admitted to yet
"If you haven't been having a lot of homework how about we hang out together after school?"Hyunjin asked Seungmin not really caring that he just lied about why he has been ignoring him
"I um am already hanging out with Jeongin today" Seungmin said hoping that Jeongin would just go with it this time which of course he didn't
"No, actually I have plans binge-watching Netflix and I don't remember ever inviting you"
"I meant Felix" Seungmin said with an awkward laugh
"I'm going on a date with Changbin!" Felix said making up an excuse but now that he said it it sounded like a good idea
"Sorry haha I'm dumb I meant Jisung"
"I don't want to hang out with you" Jisung said actually being the only honest one there
"Woah, rude!"
"I didn't mean it like that! I would just rather you hang out with Hyunjin because I just want you two to date already. Seriously Seungmin stop with that hard to get thing and just accept it"Jisung said causing everyone to be surprised that Jisung was that straightforward about it
"I'm not playing hard to get!" Seungmin deffended
"Then go on a freaking date with him after school you coward" Jisung said he was done with the situation it was Seungmin's own fault that he was getting stressed and Hyunjin just kept getting his heart hurt which he didn't deserve
"Fine I will" Seunfmin said as Hyunjin smiled and Jisung smirked he knew that Seungmin hated being wrong about anything, and Felix gave him a high five
" Do you want to hang out at my house after school?" Hyunjin asked him again
"Sure" Seungmin said not looking up. Hyunjin noticed that he had been avoiding looking at him but didn't question it
The bell them rang making this stressful lunch end for Seungmin
"I'll meet you in front of the school when classes are over" Hyunjin in said to the younger who nodded his head and waved bye to Hyunjin
Just act like friends when you hang out with him, don't blush, don't do anything, act normal
That what was going through Seungmin's mind over and over again until the final bell rang meaning school was over and it was time to go meet Hyunjin
