Seungmin didn't go to school the next day and he did not bother to tell Hyunjin or any of his other friends that he was not going

By the time lunch came the younger ones who where supposed to see him in classes were worried about where he was

When they got to the lunch table they, of course, all texted him and tried to call him but got no answer

"I hope he's okay" Jeongin sighed as he gave up calling him

Soon Hyunjin finally came to the table but was surprised to see that Seungmin was not there

"Where is Seungmin?!" He asked them while sitting down

"We don't know, he won't answer his phone. Maybe you should try" Felix told him and Hyunjin nodded as he tried to call Seungmin but he didn't pick up

Suddenly Jeongin's phone buzzed signifying a text and everyone looked at him

"What?" He asked them

"If Seungmin where to text someone it would probably be you, what did he say?" Jisung asked him

"It wasn't Seungmin, it was my mom" the younger said lying but the others didn't question him

The truth was that Seungmin texted him asking to come see him after school and of course, he agreed but he didn't know if it was something personal or not so he didn't say anything to the others

They were all worried but they ended up just assuming that he was sick and is sleeping so can't answer his phone, but if this was still going on tomorrow then they were going to go to his house and check on him or something

After school Jeongin walked to Seungmin's house and when he got there knocked on the door and waited for Seungmin to answer not really knowing what to expect

Seungmin opened the door and looked like absolute trash

"What the heck happened? Are you sick?" Jeongin asked him as he put a hand on his forehead to check his temperature but Seungmin shook his head

They both went to Seungmin's room

"What happened?" Jeongin asked him, actually being concerned for his best friend

"I'm so freaking stupid"Seungmin  said shakily

"Why?"

"I ended up trusting Hyunjin and what does he do the very next day I tell him that? He goes and makes out with another guy"

"Seungmin, I'm so so sorry. I will sit with you in the library when you come back to school but we do have test coming up so you really need to come back to school as soon as possible" Jeongin said hugging his best friend

"I'm so done with this whole entire thing, why can't it just be easier? Why can't we just date or something?" Seungmin asked into Jeongin's shoulder not even really knowing himself if he was being serious or not

"Seungmin you don't like me"

"But why not? It would be so much freaking easier if we could just date each other. You are the only one that's truly always there for me"

"But there is a difference between friendship and relationship type of love"

"We could end up loving each other romantically, I had a tiny crush on you last year but I made myself get over it because I knew you would never feel the same way" Seungmin said telling the honest truth about what he had just said making Jeongin shocked

"I know you are going through stuff but seriously stop with this stuff, don't use me as your rebound. I know you don't mean any harm by it but please stop" Jeongin sighed as he played with Seungmin's hair

"I'm sorry Jeongin, I'm really not trying to do that. I did actually have a crush on you"

"But you don't anymore"

"But What if I ever do again?"

"Then tell me about it then"

Seungmin just nodded into his shoulder still oblivious to the fact the Jeongin had feelings for him
