Chan and Jeongin stayed at the hospital and Chan decided to ask Jeongin about his sudden outlash on Hyunjin
"Jeongin"
"Yeah?" He asked not looking up from Seungmin's sleeping face which he had been looking at like Seungmin was just going to magically wake up at any second
"Is there a reason why you are blaming everything on Hyunjin?" Chan asked him and Jeongin finally looked up at him and sighed
"He hurt Seungmin last year when he wrote that letter... Seungmin let it affect him way more then he should have even though according to his mom he was also going through other things at the time he never told me what. Seungmin and I become super close but he was sad for a while and since I didn't know anything else was going on that the time I just blamed Hyunjin for his constant sadness. Hyunjin was there when the crash happened and I know it wasn't his fault but I'm recently....."
"Recently What Innie?"
"Never mind it's really not important, I'm sorry about freaking out on Hyunjin" Jeongin replied, ignoring the nickname
"It's okay but we are not the ones you should apologize too. You should really go apologize to Hyunjin. He is going through a lot right now too, he cares about Seungmin a lot too" Chan said dropping the fact that Jeongin was obviously keeping something from him
"Yeah, tell me his address please? I will go apologize" Jeongin said and Chan gave him the address
Jeongin took one last glance at Seungmin before he walked out of the room, on his way out he saw Felix and Jisung who said hi to him but they then quickly went to the Seungmin's hospital room
Jeongin went to Hyunjin's house and when he got there he felt nervous
He was about to apologize to his crushes possible crush who also likes his crush
He did not plan on telling him any of that though
He knocked and patiently waited for the door to open
Hyunjin opened the door with a tear-stained face
"Oh my gosh Hyunjin what's wrong?!" Jeongin asked him
"Y-you are right, it is my fault"
"No, it's not! I shouldn't have said that it's the Stupid drunk driver's fault"Jeongin said as he followed Hyunjin inside to the couch
"If I would have been watching more carefully then he might be okay right now"
"No, I'm so sorry but seriously stop blaming yourself. I highly doubt that Seungmin will blame any of this on you when he wakes up" Jeongin said to him
Hyunjin started crying at this point
"What if he does though? You are his best friend and you did"
Jeongin hugged him, completely ignoring the awkward relationship the two of them had
Jeongin explained to Hyunjin everything that he told Chan, leaving out the part about him liking Seungmin yet again
"Jeongin?" Hyunjin asked quietly once he was done explaining
"Yes?"
"Do you like Seungmin?" Hyunjin asked him, kind of being able to pick it up from his explanation
Jeongin thought for a minute before he answered the question
"I...."
