"So what are your thoughts on Seungmin?" Minho asked Hyunjin as soon as they walked into Minho's room after school

"What do you mean?" Hyunjin asked oblivious to what Minho was implying

"You seemed to be staring and smiling an awful lot at lunch today"

"Well, Seungmin is super...adorable? But he seems to really not like me which kind of sucks so hopefully I can change that because I really don't want him to hate me for no reason"

"And why do you care so much if he hates you?"

"Because I want to be his friend?" Hyunjin said making it sound more like a question

"Huh, and you said you though he was cute?"

"Yeah and? People can think their friends are cute. Tell me right the heck now that you did not think I was adorable when you first saw me"Hyunjin said trying to defend himself

"Okay yes, but in my defense, the whole school thinks that"

"Except Seungmin"

"Oh? You hate how the whole school is all over you then as soon as you find one person who is not you hate that they aren't?"

"Yes" Hyunjin sighed as he fell back onto Minho's bed

"You know how you said that people shouldn't assume they like you after one conversation?"

"Yeah"

"Well you seem to be pretty interested in Seungmin for only having one conversation with him" Minho said looking at Hyunjin who seems like he was thinking of a way to defend himself

"I guess I get how it's possible but writing love notes after having one conversation? That still seems pretty far....and desperate"

"I think it's possible to develop a crush that quickly. Do you?"

"Are you trying to tell me that you like Seungmin?"

"No you idiot, I'm telling you that you like Seungmin"Minho said throwing a pillow at Hyunjin's face

"You can't tell me I like someone"

"You are not denying it"

"Yes I am"

"Let's see how long that lasts"

"You are annoying. Also, you invited me here so help me with my homework" Hyunjin said reaching for his backpack

"Fine"

It was now the next day and Hyunjin decided to go to school early so he could get a book for a project

He finished checking out his book and was about to walk out until he saw Seungmin sitting in a corner peacefully reading by himself

Hyunjin decided to go try to talk to him and thought that maybe he just wasn't in the mood to talk yesterday. He didn't talk to anyone else until that band was mentioned. he hoped that it would be different today

"Hey Seungmin" Hyunjin whispered as he approached him

Seungmin slightly looked up then mumbled a "hi" while Hyunjin took the seat next to him

"What are you reading?" Hyunjin asked him trying to make conversation

"Some stupid book for a history project" Seungmin said closing the book after realizing that he wasn't going to be able to read anymore with Hyunjin there

"Well...are you sitting with us again today at lunch?"

"I don't know Felix hasn't asked me and if he does I will only go if Jeongin does"

"Felix doesn't have to invite you. You and your other friends can sit with us whenever you want"Hyunjin smiled. Hoping he could get Seungmin to agree to sit with him again

"Then I will go if Jeongin goes"

"Why does he get to decide? I want you to sit with me" Hyunjin said pouting

"Why do you care? We just met each other yesterday"

"Because I want us to be good friends"

Seungmin scoffed at his response which caused Hyunjin's facial expression to turn sad but he wasn't going to give up

"Seungmin can I have your phone num-" suddenly Hyunjin got cut off by the bell and Seungmin walked out of the library without even saying bye to the other

He wondered why the younger hated him so much. There had to be a reason

To Hyunjin's surprise, once he got to their lunch table he saw Felix came walking towards the table with two other boys, one of them being Seungmin of course

"Hey, this is Jeongin"Felix said while sitting down as Seungmin took his seat from yesterday across from Hyunjin and Jeongin sat on the other side of Seungmin

"Hello" Jeongin smiled at them all while Chan seemed to not be able to look away from him

"Umm Okay? Nice to meet you all!" Jeongin said and smiled at him once again

"Wait, Felix you said you had three other friends... where is the last one?" Minho asked him feeling bad if they all left their other friend to sit by himself

"He couldn't come cause he's a panicked g-"suddenly Jeongin cut him off knowing that Jisung would kill him for saying what he was about to in front of Minho

"He is a panicked person about homework" Jeongin finished his sentence and surprisingly no one questioned it except for Seungmin who whispered in his ear

"Cause that's gonna be believable once they meet him" Seungmin replied sarcastically as Jeongin just sighed at his dumb excuse

"Seungmin can I get your number now?" Hyunjin asked knowing that he could no longer use 'having to go to class' as an excuse

Seungmin reluctantly took his phone and added his number and Hyunjin thanked him with a smile

"What's your name again?"Jeongin asked Hyunjin

"Hyunjin" He said looking up from his phone and at the younger

"Oh" Jeongin responded

"Oh?" Hyunjin asked confused

"I meant hi" Jeongin said making his second stupid excuse of the day

"Do you know me?" Hyunjin questioned

Jeongin looked at Seungmin who shook his head no then he looked back and Hyunjin which didn't go unnoticed by Felix who was going to make them tell him what was going on later

"Nope" Jeongin replied

Hyunjin looked suspicious of the two but let it go. He's never talked to either of them so there was no way that the younger knew him. Maybe he was thinking of a different Hyunjin
