"I....no?" Jeongin replied but it sounded more like a question then a statement, he leaned back into the couch as he responded trying to hide from Hyunjin
"I'm not going to be mad or anything if you answer honestly. It's just the way you talk about him makes it sound as if you liked him more then just a friend. You obviously care a lot about him"Hyunjin said
"Fine, I do like him but I know I don't have any chance with him and I have known since the very beginning. I told myself that if I let myself fall for him it would be one-sided and remain that way but I let myself do it anyways" Jeongin explained to him holding back tears
"How long have you liked him?" Hyunjin questioned him calmly
"Since right after he wrote you that letter. I thought my crush went away but it didn't... I'm so sorry"
"Why are you sorry?"
"For loving Seungmin" Jeongin said quietly
"It's not your fault that you love him don't apologize. You two have probably been through a lot with each other considering how long you have been friends"
"Please don't hate me" Jeongin said basically ignoring that Hyunjin was not mad at him at all
"I don't hate you"
"I promise that I won't do anything to try to make Seungmin like me back, his friend ship means more than anything to me"
"Jeongin!" Hyunjin said trying to get him to listen to him
"Please just let me continue being his friend" Jeongin said
"Yang Jeongin!!" He said louder finally getting the younger to snap out of it and look at him with a tear-stained face
"I'm not going to make you stop being his friend! One-sided love sucks but I know you are going to find someone perfect for you. Seungmin and I are not even official yet and me liking him has felt one-sided for months"
"He has trust issues and I don't even know why. Thank you for not being mad"
"Thank you for being honest" Hyunjin said to him
"Yeah.... please take good care of him when he wakes up"
Hyunjin nodded in response then Jeongin said that he should get going now
They said bye to each other then Jeongin left
Hyunjin didn't feel at fault anymore but he did feel bad for Jeongin still, he just hoped he would find someone else soon
Hyunjin decided to take a shower and a nap before going back to the hospital
Apparently everyone else had already visited him sometime today
He went back to Seungmin's hospital room where he was still peacefully resting
Hyunjin didn't really know what to do while visiting him, he really just wanted to be there for when he wakes up
He wanted to talk to him but that seemed weird
He held his hand again
He stayed at the hospital until around 10 pm then he went home since there was still school tomorrow
He thought about how school was going to be without Seungmin there
Although he was ignored by him a few weeks prior he felt like this was going to be different
Knowing that he was going to school while Seungmin is sitting in a hospital hooked up to an IV chord
If Seungmin woke up while he was at school he would be mad that he wasn't there when he woke up, what if no one was there?
