Hyunjin eventually fell asleep after thinking about what had happened on the group chat with his friends
He was still extremely confused but he didn't see the problem asking Seungmin when he had literally said that if Hyunjin were to ask him out he would say yes
When he woke up he did his normal morning routine then walked to the cafe to get Seungmin's hot Chocolate but when he got to school Seungmin wasn't in the library
Maybe he's just running late he thought to himself
He sat in the library for about 2 minutes when he started over dramatically get bored And decided to text Seungmin cause he was impatient
Hyunjin:
Where are you? Are you running late?
Seungmin:
Sorry, I'm not running late
I'm just busy this morning
But I will see you at lunch!
Hyunjin dramatically sighed to himself, now he was lonely even though if he wanted to he could go find his friends, which he should so he can ask them what the heck was happening on the group chat and ask why he can't ask Seungmin out
He looked up and saw Jinha standing in front of him
He got up and grabbed the cup and started walking away
"Hyunjin!" She called after him
"No" he responded as he walked away, he wasn't in the mood to deal with her right now, or really ever
He walked around and eventually found Chan and Jeongin so he walked up to them
"Hi" he said to them
"Hello" they said as if nothing happened yesterday
"Care to explain why I can't ask Seungmin out?" He asked, "he said that would say yes. What's the problem?"
"Hyunjin we can't tell you, please just believe us" Jeongin said to him
"Well then I'm just going to do it anyways"
"Your acting like an elementary school kid" Chan sighed
"No, I've liked him for a while now and he hasn't liked me back until recently so can you really blame me for wanting to ask him out?" Hyunjin defended himself
"No, but Hyunjin just be patient to a little while longer with him" Chan said
"But why?"Hyunjin asked but before the conversation could go any further the bell rang to go to class
~~~~~~time skip to lunch~~~~~~
Hyunjin rushed to get to the lunch table before Seungmin, hoping that one of his other friends would answer his questions.Since Jeongin and Chan were too loyal
He got to the table and just Felix and Jisung were there as of now
"Explain please" Hyunjin said to them as he sat down
"Bad timing, shut up" Felix said to him
"Why should I shut up?" Hyunjin asked
"Explain what?" He heard a familiar voice behind him
"Nothing" they all said at the same time
"Hi Seungminnie! I missed you this morning" Hyunjin said to him as he sat beside him
"Yeah, sorry about that but I missed you too" Seungmin said smiling at him
"Where were you?"Hyunjin asked him but at this point, all of their other friends were also at the table
"I just had some things to do this morning, don't worry about any of it though I will definitely be here on time tomorrow"
'Why do I feel like they are all keeping something from me?'
Weird place to end a chapter.... oh well
