Hyunjin had been reading through the letters for about an hour and although most of them were repeats. He could tell that some people actually put time and effort into writing them which was kind of sad but he couldn't do much about it now
He still didn't think he would like any of the people that wrote the letters. Especially since 85% of them were from girls
He got to one letter that was two pages long and started reading it. After just reading the first page the person had said he's never talked to him but he always seems so nice and cheerful and that he wished he could share just one of the same character traits as him
The person explained that although he had never talked to Hyunjin, he liked him because of how his characteristics were everything he wished to be and wanted in another person
The person told Hyunjin that it wasn't just about his looks (although he did say he was attractive) but of how sweet he always was and how great of a friend he seemed to be
The letter went on to say a lot more and while reading it Hyunjin smiled at it. At the end the person told him to meet him outside of the school in the garden that day if he wanted to talk to him, although they doubted he would. Maybe Hyunjin would have actually met this person if he would have read it a few years ago
"This was so cute" Hyunjin said as he looked at the date the letter was written, which was last year
He then finally looked at the name of the person who wrote it.......Kim Seungmin
He gasped, "Is this why he dislikes me so much?" he asked himself
He wished he had read it last year. He could have been dating Seungmin by now
He thought of how sweet Seungmin was in the letter compared to how he acted around him now. He wanted the Seungmin from the letter, he was going to try everything to get the younger to be that way again, to get him to like him again/ He was going to make it up to him somehow
He got out a blank piece of notebook paper and write tomorrow's date at the top then proceeded to write
Dear Seungmin,
He wrote out all of his thoughts about Seungmin his thoughts about his adorable looks, how much he likes his personality when he was happy or around his friends ignoring that Seungmin is cold to him most of the time... although he now knows the reason why
He ended up writing what ended up being a confession letter, and just like Seungmin's letter had told him to do, he asked Seungmin t to meet him at the garden after school
He really hoped Seungmin would show up. Not that Hyunjin thought he deserves it but he still wanted it to happen
He did not mention anything about Seungmin's letter from last year in his letter, that was something he wanted to apologize about face to face
Despite the fact Seungmin would probably be able to tell Hyunjin found the letter once he finds Hyunjin's letter in his locker
Hyunjin put his letter to Seungmin in his backpack so he could put it in Seungmin's locker tomorrow
He laid back on his bed and sighed... if only he would have actually read the letter a year ago
