The first people to befriend the Alta Heroes and become their closest friends besides each other, who knows what it would've been like if these three people didn't meet our young protagonists? The main reason as to why these characters were created was to not only give the teenage heroes we're rooting for allies in their ongoing battle against all things wrong in their world, but to show that these kids are not alone in terms of feeling the pains of misery, loneliness, and abandonment.

Lieutenant Carter:Some people are too hard on the police because of some of the mistakes they've made throughout our history. But, of course, there are police officers who exist who have no right to wear that badge due to them failing to uphold their oath to protect and serve the innocent. But, what people don't always understand is that police officers are people too. They have lives, they have families, and most importantly, they make mistakes. Police Lieutenant Dennis Carter is no exception with him being a man whose made many mistakes in his life before and after he put on that badge and swore to uphold the law. Stern, focused, and strong willed are only a few of the factors that make up Lieutenant Carter's character as this man values the work he does for this city but doesn't value it over his loved ones, as well as the importance of compassion and humanity. A lot of Kakashi Hatake from the Naruto series is seen in this man as these two damaged characters posses a lot of sarcasm, reading, and skill in their very being. What can also be compared between Fic-City's bravest officer and the copycat ninja of the Hidden Leaf is the crucial lesson these two men learned about the people around them being more important than the mission they're trying to accomplish. In Lieutenant Carter's case, much similar to Ashely, his life was full of mistakes and sorrow as he lived his entire life alone with no one there for him until Commissioner Vincent Lovecraft took him in after seeing the drive and determination the young man possessed but didn't know how to use. Carter soon learned the ropes of being a police officer pretty quickly as a result of the training he underwent through Lovecraft as well as the ups and downs of dealing with the worst of Fic-City's crime and violence. At first, Dennis was very apathetic towards criminals and those whom made mistakes, which could be explained by him wanting to forget his past. However, as he grew into a better man and a better officer of the law, he learned that no matter what he does, he'll never forget the events that made him who he is. And, another important lesson he learned is that he can choose what to do with his mistakes which is where Dennis decided to use his failures in his life as motivation to save others and to be a better person. What Dennis hopes for most is his city to be safe and to guide those who are lost, the Alta Heroes being no exception. Although skeptical at first of the teen heroes, he noticed the fire inside them as well as the genuine good intentions they have for their actions. He also enjoys the compassion and empathy the Alta Heroes use to defeat their enemies as well as saving others, more so then using their fists and powers. Dennis Carter may have his moments of distrust and apathy, but he is a good person deep down. Not only is the police lieutenant someone trying to help our heroes be the best they can be and protect his city to the best of his ability, he's also a man trying to overcome his dark past and move on into a brighter future not just for himself, but for all of those around him.

Sam:Anything, Nerd? This is the place where Sam Holland expresses herself the most as she can not only live out her dream job but also be a kid. Sam was originally just a girl whom never got to experience life as a kid as a dead father and a strict working mother made her end up on a path she never wanted until the day she cut ties with her. Running away from the difficult world of rules, her mother's home, and school, Sam eventually gathered enough resources to open up her shop and pursue her dream job, living out the youth she missed out on everyday, inside and out of the shop. A kind and carefree child at heart, including the fact that she's always there for her friends, as well as someone who knows when to be funny and when to be serious, she's also a girl with a heart of gold. But, due to her impulsiveness and snarky attitude, Sam may be a good kid but she's also a kid. Originally, she would've had an older brother named Maxwell whom had cared for her since their parents died and that she was secretly related to one of the villains. But, I feel there's enough of those stories that mimicked Star Wars and I didn't want her character to be a victim of that trend. So, I went with the next best thing and made her a character who wants to be a kid but who will eventually have to grow up, a reality she doesn't want to accept. But, she'll have to. Someday.

Dr.Mackinder:Wisdom is exactly what psychologist Dr.Brandon Mackinder radiates everyday inside and outside of the office. He is a man whom cares about the wellbeing of his patients and his loved ones, always wishing for the best of them and wanting to help them with the best of his abilities. Brandon has taken Starsis's position of a mentor for our heroes as he wants to help guide them through their struggles in their superhero life as well as offer advice on how to handle difficult situations that mostly relate to personal problems they're having. Like the Alta Heroes, Dr.Mackinder believes everyone deserves a second chance at reform and to have a better life. He sees Dennis as a prime example mainly through knowing him personally and through witnessing his actions. Sam is another example as she made her life all on her own despite no one supporting her. Bradford tries to encourage Dennis to lighten up sometimes and for Sam to think before she acts, including trying to prevent fights from breaking out between the two due to their clashing personalities. Overall, Bradford Mackinder is the sage of the Alta Heroes universe, a man who wants to guide those whom are suffering down the right path and to aid those in need any way he can.
