Jayden:Now, I know this is getting everyone thinking;"Ohh, this character is basically the equivalent of a self-insert the author created for a character to satisfy his weird fantasies.", which is fair but you're wrong. Yes, I'm coming out and saying that Jayden is in fact based off of myself. We do have creative minds and we do look similar. However, he and I are also completely different in terms of how we use our passions, our family history, and how we act around those around us. First and foremost, my passion is obviously writing and his passion is drawing. While my developing mind swirled with thoughts ranging from being a marine biologist like Robert Ballard due to my obsession with the R.M.S Titanic to then wanting to be a film producer starting out on YouTube to now wanting to be a famous creative writer, Jayden Isaacson has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He even says so on episode twelve of the main series;"Unexpected Results From Compassionate Visits". After all, it was one of the many things he used as a coping mechanism to escape his parent's constant arguing and dysfunctional lifestyle. Keep in mind that the parents arguing backstory was always something that's been in my head for a while. For Jayden, this was always his backstory. It was just hard for where I wanted the rest of his story to go but I did eventually get the final steps to create this character with a love interest of his pushing herself away from him and his creative prowess being morphed into his superpower, which I obviously mean his power of drawing anything that can come to life. Speaking of Jayden's powers, it was a very difficult process. First, it was just a creative mind but then I realized it was way too overpowered. So, I gave him a mystical pen instead that he can use for his superhero escapades. As many can guess what that kind of difficult childhood can do to a person, Jayden was lost and depressed throughout his life until he met the abrasive but quirky Bella Johnson. She was a painter and he was a drawer. So, the chemistry was there which of course led to their ill fated romance as she soon betrayed him through her own selfishness and pettiness. Of course, the kid was heartbroken and more sad then ever because of his first friend/girlfriend's treachery which then developed into anger as he soon lashed out at his parents for the horrible existence they gave him, which later led to their mysterious disappearance when Jayden returns from a usual walk he does to clear his head. Eventually, his life does get a massive boost in the positive direction when he's summoned by Starsis, the entity of light, to help stop his brother Evilkin, and meets his best friends for life. Ashley Stephans, Shadow Bird a.k.a Jeremy Ethos, Aubrey Stone, and Asori Zara. Together, after that emotional rollercoaster of a journey involving the group learning about their future home Fic-City, the teens struggling to overcome personal problems of theirs which makes it difficult for them to get along, fighting Evilkin's two demonic servants, and helping mend the relationship of the two brothers, they formed the Alta Heroes to save others the way they had been saved from their difficult lives as well as explore different universes, fight the forces of evil, and live out their lives as the protectors/residents of Fic-City. Now, you'd expect Jayden to be a bit closed off and distrusting due to his past but he's surprisingly able to make friends with the group at a level that surprises even himself. The four teens were so much like him in many ways as they too were victims of loneliness and pain, as well as their similar interests in the world of fiction. Coupled with their emotional viewings of each other's tragic pasts, Jayden knew at that point that he wasn't the worst off. Now, as a leader, he's still new to it and he isn't afraid to show his discomfort over their arguing when it happens which he quickly tries to deal with,"The Alta Heroes", this event most known as their first outing, being a prime example of this. Jayden is also good at reading people, like Aubrey, Dr.Mackinder, and Orphée/Jennifer, including how they're feeling which can give him an idea of what to do and how to handle the situation. The boy in the blue hoodie may be a character based off of myself but he's also his own person, someone whose trying to be the best he can be and move on from his past with the help of those who truly love him and whom he loves back.
